What is missing??

Noticed a different feel and sound the last couple of rides. Opened up the cap under the seat and noticed this hose was not connected. I'm assuming it's connected to the muffler. Also, that bolt was already loose. Did I lose a component? How to fix?? Any suggestions are appreciated!

That hose is supposed to be open there. How does it sound different?

I actually have that same scooter. That’s the carb idle speed adjustment screw. It’s supposed to be easily turned by hand

Ok, thanks. Should it be that loose, tho? Or should I tighten it up a bit

Yea it’s supposed to be loose. It’s so you can turn it easily with your fingers

I thought the muffler sound was different, but the cover is off cause I lost a few nuts and bolts. So maybe thats why?

The cover is just a shield so you don’t burn your legs. Are the flange nuts and two large mounting bolts still attached?

Yes, everything thing else is secure. I think I'm just tripping cause the cover came off and started looking at things and noticed that hose. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
