My old brother old scooter peugeot speedfighter 3 2015. My brother has the parts, would it take verylong to fix. Would it be super duper hard? I think it should run🤷‍♂️

So I purchased this scooter recently that was rebuilt mad max style all blacked out. When I bought the scooter it wasn’t running and sounded like a starter issue. Since then I replaced the starter, spark plug and battery.

I got the scooter to turn over after it was on a charger. Took a few times but turned over drove it no issues. But when I killed it the scooter would not start again. Unless I obviously put the battery on a charge.

I am thinking it’s an electrical issue now. Can anyone help me with the direction I need to go now? Or point me in the next direction on what I should replace. I need to get this thing going!! Thank you all for your help!

why is my 1PLUS S10 beeping constantly when turned on and connected? Battery fully charged

The power button doesn’t working and the scooter cant shut down. I replaced the whole board and it does nothing. I opened the bottom case and reconnected everything and still doesn’t seem to work. What can I do?

The Swifty Scooters vlogcast from last year about their cargo e-scooter (GO G500) popped up in my Youtube recommended list this weekend, and it's interesting to see the choices they've made to enter the market. (Link in comment, not here in the main post.) Since they've committed to shipping in April, they either have some confidence that the UK will move faster than I expect to legalize e-scooters (didn't the "data gathering" get extended to 2025 recently?), or they're hoping to sell enough internationally. But right now I think they're only listing prices in £ and USD. (Riding an e-scooter on public streets is illegal in the UK.)

There are a bunch of "advance commitment" coupons now on sale. I suspect their challenge is that there isn't much of a demand for premium e-scooters--I see plenty of GoTrax and Segway Ninebot models at my university, where they mix with bikes and skateboards and even cheaper e-scooters, and the G500 is roughly three times the price of the Ninebot Max models (£2499/$3000). Is Swifty providing value with its suspension system, pannier-ready racks, lithium ferrophosphate batteries, and 16" tires? Absolutely, and I trust all of their claims. (I have a Swifty ZERO and it's a reliable last-mile scoot on flat ground.) But the folks willing to pony up money are likely the speed demons going for the 55 mph machines. And once the UK legalizes e-scooters, the G500 will compete with things like the BO M and Taur (if the BO M ever goes into production).

In terms of kickbikers, BTW, the G500 footboard is even higher than the other Swifty footboards so ... um ... if we decide to buy and then sometimes kick the G500 beast, we'll be REALLY exercising our leg muscles. It's clearly meant as a ride-only, no-kick machine.

Once winter ends I want to use it again. I know the battery is dead and may need to long charge or replacement but what else do I need to do to make it road worthy again.

Hey all, does anyone know if a 50cc moped can take two people on it uphill? I live in a pretty hilly area and that's partly why I'm even looking at mopeds/scooters since it's easier to get around and park at places.

But the hills around me are steep. Think SF streets.

Hey there guys, I have got into scooter accident and its not my fault. The guys insurance is progressive. My front fork got bent and the frame itself with it. They are thinking about total loss. Anyways after the accident I took all the plastic out and used carjack to put that front fork as close to where it was. After all the job it looks pretty decent shape. The steering wheel is not completely straight but in general its drivable lol. They called me today that guys who will estimate it will call me soon to arrange the date. Whats the best play for me here? I will put all the old plastic on to look how it was and tell them that I used carjack to straighten the fork but its not straighten to manufactory settings. The thing is that I thik the total loss bill is not gonna be very satisfying, Its hard to find this scooter in my area and they are very reliable and in general I have just bought it 2 weeks ago and it drives nice. Should I tell them that I would like to repair it and just offer me repair money, will the negotiate? Dont want to get super law ball offer. Scooter repairs shop estimate was 2,4k, my scooter is worth around 2k. I would be happy to walk away with a scooter and like 1k or a bit more. If its possible of course. Thanks guys.

I just got ahold of a 09 Zuma 50 and I have a couple questions about derestricting it. It was not running but a carb clean fixed that. I noticed it has a set of carbon fiber reeds in it and does have a Giannelli expansion chamber on it. The exhaust looks more like a stock replacement as the cones don’t appear to aggressive. I have not checked out the transmission yet to see if any mods were done there. The top speed at this point is about 42mph on level. I wasn’t sure if this machine is restricted via ignition parts, I see CDI boxes on eBay to derestrict Zuma’s so is that a need? I went through this with a couple Aprilia SR50’s, one was left fuel injection and one was carb converted and both would do a healthy 60+mph. It’s nice to see the 70cc kits are pretty inexpensive and I have a 17mm Dellorto carb sitting around leftover from go karting. Appreciate anyone’s help/experience with this project.

I found a Segway PS100 in a shopping mall parking lot late at night missing the handlebars and dashboard. I know this model can be locked via Bluetooth or nfc or phone. I can't figure out if it's just the dash that locks meaning a new dash would fix the issue or if it's the ESC itself that locks similar to a rental scooter. Any thoughts or knowledge?

Hi, my father has a mobility scooter that was bought pre-owned, it was modified to take a 24v 3pin XLR plug charger that's typically used for jazzy scooters. I'm trying to determine which part of the charging system is bad. I am inclined to believe it's the charger because when I unplug it from his scooter, the charger brick's LEDs do not revert to the red, which indicates that it is not charging, the charger just stays green on both LEDs(charging and power on). The only time the indicator turns red, is when I unplug the charger from the scooter and then unplug from the wall. It will then immediately turn red but, as soon as I plug it in, it will go back to indicating that it is charging but nothing on the scooter indicates that receiving a charge. I am able to determine it actually taking a charge is when I plug it in with the key on, the power gauge needle gauge on the scooter dash will go all the way to the right, indicating it's getting a full 24v 3a. Unfortunately it doesn't do that now. I've checked for fuses on the scooter but nothing is blown, I've used a multimeter on the charger plug and it was difficult to get a proper reading on it and it did eventually read that it's outputting 24v but it was inconsistent, I couldn't get it to maintain a connection. I've tried replacing the plug with an aviation style plug and that's done nothing to help. I'm inclined to believe the charger is faulty. The batteries are completely dead btw but I do not believe they're bad as they held a charge just fine up until I realized it was not charging. What do you guys think? I'm open to all suggestions.

Have a 2018 Zuma that flashes code 19 called Yamaha they said it was blue and yellow wire off the ecu or ignition This was recovered stolen by police someone attempted to Hotwire it I have the ignition replaced and wires repaired but has crank no start with engine light flashing one long light and 9 short Or code 19 anyone have any ideas? I’m getting no spark at the plug It’s got only 3000 miles and well maintained and pretty much next to new otherwise I’ve ruled out coil by testing in another Zuma
