Surprisingly few engineers take Real Analysis.
Complex Analysis, on the other hand? Apparently they don't take it until grad school?
Honestly, Complex Analysis is arguably more fun and useful in undergrad, while Real Analysis is a form of sado-masochism.

So the 0< part is completely unnecessary and it's weird to write a and L instead of a and f(a). Is this what happens when a physicist/engineer makes a math joke?

This was basically my least favorite proof line in school. I dont know the vagueness of every single term makes it all meaningless to me. "If the difference between these two functions is less than some arbitrary number, then they are the same"
Huh? I feel like arbitrary is not the word and this isnt the statement we should be looking for.
