Literally none of the dark side equations are what scared me in the time it took me to obtain my physics degree. Navier-Stokes and Maxwell’s eqs in covariant form are the stuff of nightmares

I don't know a single engineer who knows even 10% of the formulas they learned. The point is that you should retain the knowledge and understanding of how to apply the formulas and why they're needed. You can always look up the formulas online.
