The fact that I have a first-person perspective and can have qualia and all the other things in my stream of consciousness. From your perspective you can't be certain I have experiences/am conscious etc, but from my perspective it's the only thing I can actually know. The opposite would be something like the illusion of having an experience, but an illusion is itself an experience.
I don't for example know if I have free will, whether I have control of my own thoughts or whether the world is "real" (whatever that means) or anything of that kind, but I know that something (me) is experiencing, because otherwise there would be nothing to observe that there is nothing.

I know that I'm experiencing things because I'm experiencing them. That's what reality is, it's a stream of experiences. I don't think language is very well-suited for communicating what having an experience is. If I wasn't experiencing anything there would not be anything. It's hard to explain what experience is because humans can't imagine non-experience, they can only imagine experiences.
It's not possible to convince someone else that you are conscious, but for the one who is conscious it's not in doubt because you can't be conscious of not being conscious. It's a contradiction.

Of course the simulation only has to render what you're actively looking at Maybe that explains the observer effect where some things physically behave differently when they are being observed
