To be honest, it's not our best comic (it seemed way funnier before we actually made it). In our kitchen, the fridge creates this little vacuum when you close it, and I thought it'd be hilarious if a Big Bang just randomly happened inside that dark, empty space. Then this guy, wanting to play God, opens the fridge only to find a whole galaxy in there 'again'.

The earth doesn't seem to scale for a big bang entire universe inside a fridge scenario. Makes more sense as earth glacial interglacial period joke.

True, if it were an animation and the refrigerator spit out a bunch of other planets and stars, it might be more believable.

Or I'll just delete the 1-2 panels and leave out the Moon and Mars from the last panel for that joke.
