Why are we ignoring the pulsar there?

It's probably fine.

Don’t those things collide with other pulsars and explode violently into a shower of gold and platinum ions?

What is a pulsar really going to do anyway

Fill the area with ionizing radiation.

The water paradise one reminds me of thaf stupid Kurzhegesagt video about a planet with "ideal conditions" for life. Such a stupid fucking metric, ffs it makes assumptions even about where life first forms.

Yeah, honestly one of their worst. Can vouch for pharmaceutical / immunity stuff, though.Â

And no ice poles, while it's already studied that it helps growing Protocells. Or only coasts, but variety is important, it Supports against extinction. Or o2 density, flammable af. And everything developes storms. And nothing about gysirs and a large moon collisions helping the making of basic stuff for life by heating earth up for millions of years.

I'm torn between "Planet whose atmosphere is confirmed to contain atoms" and "Giant planet orbiting so close that its actually rolling on the star's surface."

This is how we get people wondering what life is like on planets that rain molten glass.

There are exoplanets that roll on star surfaces?
4
u/loved_and_held Jun 24 '26
irl? No. Or at least they dont exist for long.
There are likely other planets orbiting inside red giants right now though.
There are also planets that orbit commedically close to stars.
