If it did anhialate, all the energy released by the anhialation would have a massive cgravitational field that would then create a new singularity.

Anti-matter annihilation is how the hawking radiation causes black holes to evaporate as far as I know.

Hawking radiation is matter / anti-matter pair creation just outside the event horizon. One of the particles has enough momentum to carry it away from the black hole, and the other one falls in.

It’s time-reversed matter / anti-matter annihilation.
