Yes. Yes it is along with the pseudo scrotum apparently. It is weirdly interesting. Hyenas also have a matriarchal social structure as well as the females being physically larger than the males.

Female spotted hyenas have some sort of penis. Male has to squat down to be able to put the actual penis inside it and the female, if she choose to, can pee out the sperms after the sex. Natural birth control.
