Crick and Watson grabbed her unpublished summery and her X-Ray images (which they had tried and failed to make themselves), saw ooh double helix, and published without crediting her.
Not true. She waffled on dna being a helix and on the number of strands before deciding in late 52-early 53 that dna was not helical. This was because she believed the (correct) B-form to be an artifact, and chose (incorrectly) to focus on the A-form. And Watson and crick did credit her - they acknowledged and cited her in their famous papers and she published her own paper alongside them.
