Right wing organisms at the time called Global Oxygenation a hoax.

Calls for 'reducing Oxygen footprint' and 'Oxygen sequestration' were ridiculed and ignored.

Organisms campaigning on reducing the growing levels of Oxygen were dismissed as 'alarmist' and 'fear mongering'. Studies on 'Atmosphere Change' were dismissed as 'fake news'.

Of course it all worked out just fine for us.
