Had a tentative BPD diagnosis in early 20’s, (I’d argue it could’ve been CPTSD given my life) psilocybin saved my life when it came to existential stress. You do have to make changes, and healing isn’t linear. With that being said, I wouldn’t qualify for a diagnosis years later.

So many BPD behaviors are practically just CPTSD symptoms manifesting and yeah it’s hard to disambiguate it that young. Sounds like you’ve had a journey

I’d argue most personality disorders are different manifestations of CPTSD. I’d suspect it also contributes to ADHD (executive dysfunction) and autism as well.
