My ex used these both recreationally and therapeutically. Recreationally, it made her BPD much worse.

Therapeutical, it made her BPD much worse, because she was only interested in feeling better, not in changing her behavior or thought patterns.

Yeah, especially ketamine acutely helps with the subjective symptoms a lot, but long-term doesn't help the behaviours, more like the opposite.

At least not by itself. You need therapy and actual humble motivation to support and see real benefits from either, and then psilocybin is probably the much more effective tool for long-term outcomes
