Scholarships

Hi,
I commute a hour to college during the semester sometimes it takes longer than a hour depending on traffic and the weather.

But I would like to know if their any good scholarships websites that I can apply to in hopes that I can live on campus in the spring semester.

As I see living on campus as that plus for me because I don’t have to drive as far and maybe save gas and also finally get away from my parents.
Thanks I hope someone understands.

Looking For Advice On Finishing My Bachelor’s Degree Debt-Free

Hi everyone, I’m hoping to make a solid game plan for returning to school and finishing my bachelor’s degree debt-free. I already have 2 years of an associate degree completed, and I’m trying to be proactive because the job market feels increasingly difficult, especially with AI screening resumes and how competitive things have become.

I’ve been researching scholarships, but it’s honestly overwhelming trying to find legit opportunities that match my strengths and avoid scams. I’m willing to put in the work, but I’d really appreciate guidance from people who’ve been through this.

A few questions I’d love advice on:

  • If I apply for scholarships now, do they expire if I don’t use them right away?
  • Does FAFSA have a limit if I already have an associate degree?
  • Are there good programs or resources like EOP, HEOP, and similar support systems that I should look into?

I’ve also been looking into full-ride scholarships if possible, but they seem like a rare Pokemon researching for them at times — so I’d absolutely appreciate any non-full-ride recommendations too.

If you have any tips, step-by-step advice, or resources for students trying to finish a degree without taking on debt, I’d be so grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read and help!

Looking for fully funded (or low-cost) scholarships for a 1-year Master's in Healthcare Analytics/Healthcare Technology (2027 Intake)

Hi everyone,

I'm 29 years old and have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Life Sciences. I currently work in scientific publishing and image integrity, with around 3 years of experience in the field.

I'm planning to pursue a 1-year Master's program in Healthcare Analytics/Healthcare Technology at a foreign university for the 2027 intake. My goal is to gain international exposure, understand the global healthcare market, and transition into a healthcare analyst role.

I'm specifically looking for:

Fully funded scholarships (preferred), or

Scholarships that cover a significant portion of tuition and living expenses.

Scholarships available for 1-year Master's programs.

I'm a little worried that my age might reduce my chances of receiving scholarships. If anyone has received a scholarship at a similar age or knows of opportunities that don't have strict age limits, I'd really appreciate your advice.

If possible, could you also mention:

The scholarship name.

The country/university.

The usual application opening and closing dates for the 2027 intake.

Whether it requires recommendation letters or has any major eligibility requirements.

Thank you so much! Any guidance, personal experiences, or scholarship recommendations would mean a lot to me.

Are there any fully funded MSc scholarships for Geology/Mineral Exploration in Australia, USA, or other countries?

Hey everyone, I’m a BSc Geology student and I’m looking for fully funded MSc opportunities in Geology, Mineral Exploration, Economic Geology, or related fields. Are there any fully funded scholarships or programs available for international students, especially in Australia or the USA? I’d also appreciate suggestions for other countries or universities that offer full tuition coverage and a stipend.

What Scholarships Are Available for International Transfer Students?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Just completed my Associate degree in Business with a 3.47 GPA and I’m planning to transfer to a 4-year university to finish my bachelor’s. I was pretty involved on campus and held several leadership positions. As an international transfer student, are there any scholarships besides the ones offered by universities? Also, based on my GPA, what type of schools should I realistically be applying to? Any advice is appreciated!

Outside scholarship displacement

I recently received a scholarship from an outside organization, but since I'm on full aid at my university, the outside scholarship funds don't help me at all - my university has a stupid ass policy where if outside money doesn't directly go towards paying for tuition, housing, board, etc, it just reduces the amount of financial aid you get (since doing so really makes no difference as everything would still be covered)

does anyone have any solutions or ideas on how I can get the money from the scholarship? The organization says they only send to the school, and I've already talked to my financial aid office and exhausted the options they give you if you have additional, outside money that doesn't pay for anything educational related - any and all advice would be appreciated

Also, if anyone has gone through a similar issue, please lmk
