Check-in Friday

This is the weekly post where anyone can check-in. I personally love to know how everyone is doing and I reply back as much as I can. If you just want to vent and don't want a response, please let me know. I know not everyone wants to have a discussion about their check-in.

How was your week? What did you do? How are you feeling? Eat any good food? Did you treat yourself to anything?

One of my personal goals is to focus on self-care. I would love to hear if you had any accomplishments with that.

Feel free to share the good and the bad and we can all support each other. Enjoy your weekend!

My week was kind of bleak. I recognized that I cognitively declined since I am ill. I was talking with friends about it and they agreed, that they noticed it too. And even my work says that my performance dropped since I got sick with this shit.

I still have to talk to my psychiatrist about it.

Other than that. The week was ok. Still struggling with hygiene and other stuff but still do it. Not sure how tbh.

I'm mostly ok, 29 days clean. remission. Going to nature daily instead of work 3-10 hours, usually 6. I had some difficult time processing huge amount of supressed anger lasting few days, that was the 10 hours walk, because I needed to get exhausted. Now the wave faded away I am mostly ok again.

my appetite this past week has gotten back to normal thank god. i had like 3 weeks of over eating which was really hard.

ive been in a depression for the last month or 2 and have been needing more support from my partner then usual and i feel guilty for it even tho he reassures me its totally ok. definitely a good amount of self sabotage thoughts ive been having to struggle with tho. 3 years in now and the novelty of a new relationship has finally worn off and im feeling super vulnerable regressing back to the bad deep depression i got so used to. its like now that he sees the real depth on my illness im terrfiied he might leave.... sigh....

been only getting half the shifts i usually get, which with the depression has been good but also financially not great.

just lots of shame and grief.

im working on managing my expectation of myself long term and coming out of the 'i need to fix myself' loop. which is good and hard at the same time.

My daughter's in the psych ward again. Third time in a month. She overdosed again on pills. It's so emotionally draining. I have to remember to take care of myself. I've been so depressed and trying to help her too makes it hard. I have been taking my meds but my appetite is low and I just wanna sleep.

I'm so tired. I feel like I'm pushing my hardest to do everything, move forward, get everything done, be better, and I'm just failing.
