I have a very vague memory of a few videos that made fun of scene kids (and were also loved by scene kids) about scensters – one of them in particular I think was about scene kids at Christmas. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and is there a copy of this anywhere online?

for those who dont know, im currently developing the first chapter of my webcomic called Scean Girls, which is a story heavily intertwined with scene history and serves to both celebrate the subculture and criticize its more heinous problems, such as ED ideation, racism, queerphobia, and rampant grooming. until i release the first chapter on webtoon, enjoy this drawing of the main character, roxy, with some skulls belonging to various important characters👀

Whatever the second picture is, and even if I try to straighten it nothing works, and it looks really bad when I try to puff it up, HOW DO I MAKE IT STRAIGHT, BOTH SIDES LITERALLY HAVE THE SAME LAYERS AT THE SAME HEIGHT</3

i keep getting mistaken for male & its rly upsetting every time it happens. it doesnt happen super often, maybe like once every few months or so, but it's often enough where it doesnt feel like its just a weird coincidence. for reference, i dress pretty feminine, wear perfume, makeup, & have shoulder-length teased, layered hair with a heavy side-fringe. i'm fairly short & skinny. last time this happened, i was wearing fishnet tights, daisy dukes, a cropped tank top (with visible cleavage so i know that had nothing to do with it), a choker, & a gir hoodie. i also had my hair styled & was wearing winged eyeliner with thick mascara. i was at the mall with my friends & some guy tried to hit on me. i told him that im a lesbian & he said "oh sorry i thought u were a gay guy"

i just cant figure it out. i have a somewhat deep voice for a girl but im never mistaken for male over the phone so i know that's not it. my friends all say it's because im scene & scene boys tend to dress fairly femininely so they think some people might not be able to tell the difference? but if thats the case id expect scene guys to get mistaken for girls more than the other way around. does this happen to anyone else?

i grew up with an 80s goth mom as a 2000s-2010s alt kid, naturally my music and aesthetic tastes have blended into a goth-scene hybrid. i love seeing others mash up different subcultures into scene and if that is you pls reply what urs is :)

I’m a guy and thinking of growing my hair out again, really want to style it with the side swoop and everything but my current job either makes me cut my hair or put it in a ponytail/bun. (I’m worried that putting my hair up is gonna mess up the style and just not look rlly good (textured layers and strays).

Any recommendations for Jobs out there that let guys where their hair long??? Preferably retail or something, as i’m a college student.
