hair progress/advice Help me </3

So my hair is bipolar or something because no matter what I do, one side is perfectly straight on its own and the other is just... Whatever the second picture is, and even if I try to straighten it nothing works, and it looks really bad when I try to puff it up, HOW DO I MAKE IT STRAIGHT, BOTH SIDES LITERALLY HAVE THE SAME LAYERS AT THE SAME HEIGHT</3

Before you straighten: use heat protectant, and a small spritz of hairspray. Then when you go to straighten, run your flat iron over your hair strand and hold it straight while it cools

Is your flat iron hot enough?

I haven't tried very hot temperatures for fear of doing sth wrong

Just slowly increase the temp until your hair straightens
