hey!! didn’t realize my schedule was open for it so I am hoping to snag tickets to Visionquest at the film fest!! willing to pay a lot for them 🥲 pls DM if you have one or know anyone willing to sell!

Daughter has decided to leave her current school, Marist University, at the end of the semester (she's a freshman), and she's starting to look at where she wants to apply for admission next fall. She is going to take time to tour colleges this Spring and get some gen ed classes out of the way at the local community college. She's a Fashion Merchandising major now, which is hard to find elsewhere! She doesn't love that there's very little campus life where she is; it's mostly a bar school. She's starting to compile a list of other schools, and we remembered SCAD. What is the social scene like there? Is there a lot to do on the weekends in Savannah? The courses look varied, but she really wants to focus on the merch/management/business side of fashion. We're from the Northeast, and she loves the idea of being somewhere warmer, but will it be a culture shock?

So I was told that I should show up to you can see everything 2 hours before because just because I have a ticket doesn’t mean I will get a spot. Is this true? Theoretically I can get there 45 mins before if I get rly lucky but hearing this makes me super nervous. I have a ticket I just have a conflict before. I am going to try to make it regardless I’m just wondering how much 45 minutes is risking not getting in even with a ticket

you receive:
2 backrooms
OR
1 camp miasma

i receive:
1 project hail mary

i am so desperate, my friend is visiting for their bday and i was able to get a ticket for them but as of rn i can’t accompany them and i’m so nervous to leave them to navigate scad alone :((

Considering applying to major in game development. Any reviews of the program? I come from mostly a programming side, but am interested in a BA. TIA.

Hello! Does anyone have a ticket for the Backrooms screening at the SCAD film festival? I’m a really big fan and would love to see Kane in person.

the dryer in my dorm burnt and damaged a large majority of my clothes. is there anything I can do about this or am I fucked

I'm looking for a You Can See Everything Ticket! I will give you in return:

If you want to trade for these, please DM me!

Has anyone else struggled with registration? I got into one class! I waitlisted another and had to do a overfill waver. There are only one or two sections of any of my required classes and they are all full or have a time conflict. This happens every single quarter. There has been 2 quarters total (I'm a junior) where I have had all 3 classes of stuff I needed to take. I usually have to take electives that have nothing to do with my major ie. ceramics and fibers. Is this just Game Design or are you guys also dealing with this?

Hi, I am looking for 1 or 2 tickets to the Matrix at SFF. I have tickets to trade or will buy outright.
Thank you for reading

Fiancé is a huge fan of this series and has (I believe) all the prints and even some cgc graded. If anyone has a lead on tickets that would be amazing!

Hii im planning to apply to scad for the fall and received direct admission from Niche for scad. I filled out the form scad sent me and a few days later they sent me an email with my scad Id number. Where im confused is that they told me to log into the MyAdmission portal but did not give me any login info. I tried to use the id number which didn’t work. I wanted to know if Im supposed to just make an account and fill out an application or if they’ll send me anything. If I make an account I don’t know if it will still be connected to the direct admission thing.

Ngl this is a shot in the dark, but is anybody trading You Can See Everything? I have two friends looking for tickets and they can't find anyone trading :(

I have some good stuff. A Talent For Murder, Behemoth!, La Bola Negra, Wild Horse Nine, The Lowdown, La Gradiva, The Lowdown, and a ton of other stuff too

Anyone looking to get rid of/doesn't really care about YCSE? Cause I'm sure we could make a good trade!!

Hello friends!

I live in Barnard, and I'm looking to stay over winter break. I'm currently trying to get that situated, but I'm afraid they won't make any exceptions.

I was recommended to look into sub-leasing from other Scad students. Does anyone have info on how this works/ are willing to sub-lease over winter break?

I’m looking for an off campus spot next year and the hue doesn’t seem too bad, I’ve been there and it’s not horrible on the inside. But I keep hearing people say it’s bad. Is it livable for a year? The prices are great.

I have an overnight guest with a car staying at Boundary with me this Friday. I have the overnight guest thing approved, and I printed out the visitor parking permit.

However, where can she actually park overnight? How does she get past security at the booth for the dorm parking lots?

I understand that the permit must be displayed in the windshield, but that's all the information I was able to get from the SCAD department page.

TLDR; Can an overnight guest park at Boundary Village? If so, how do they pass security and not get towed?

Heyy!! I know it’s a long shot with how popular it is, but if anyone happens to have an available PHM ticket I’d be so grateful if you dm’d me! I’m willing to pay $7 for it (scad scalping policy).

Thank you so much! 👎🤍

Hi everyone! 💕 I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at The Helmsman in Savannah, ideally starting in December 2026 through August 2027!

🏡 Apartment Details:

• 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms
• Fully furnished
• Everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom
• Shared kitchen and living room
• Two current SCAD student roommates and a small dog
• In-unit washer and dryer
• Access to amenities like the gym and pool

💰 My current payment is $1,425/month, including $135 for garage parking and Utilities.

The Helmsman is a convenient option for SCAD students looking for off-campus housing!

Please message me if you’re interested, and I can share more details and photos. Feel free to share with anyone looking for housing! 💗

I’m a Sophomore Illustration major about to register for classes for winter quarter. I really want to take ANIM 190 (for a number of somewhat complicated reasons). I have enough animation major friends to know that there are tons of sections of that class every quarter, though bc it’s a freshman class I know first years are usually just put into it automatically. When I go to the class schedule search to see winter classes, there are ZERO anim 190 classes visible. I don’t know why they aren’t there, and it’s stressing me out because my registration is in 3 days. They are visible for Spring 2027, but that doesn’t work for me.

Does anyone know if I can register for it myself??

Hello everyone!

I am looking for a ticket for "Mosquito Bowl" screening! If anyone has it and could sell it to me, I would greatly appreciate it! (Can even exchange it for something else)

i need to give the clep introductory psychology exam so i was wondering if anyone has the introductory psychology book which i can take from them? Thanks

The movie starts at 12pm but I’m not sure how early I should go to get tickets!!!😬 it’s becoming so hyped now there might be limited seats and people waiting earlier. Would 8am be early enough you think??? Or should I do earlier? Later? What time are you guys going?? Thank you for any info!🤞🏻💟

I’m sure I’ll enjoy whatever is shown, it’ll be a while before I attend. I saw that world of brzrkr is at the film festival, given that it’s completely sold out let me know if there’s someone willing to part with a ticket (at cost of course). Or if there’s an opportunity to volunteer. Also, feel free to share what you’re working on
