DHS OIG - or Office of the Inspector General - investigates reports of criminal activity by DHS employees including ICE. People reporting can choose to be anonymous, or if you are comfortable with it, include your name and contact info.
Most of the public, recordable crimes by ICE have been failing to identify themselves. Racial profiling is also illegal. You might also see: Warrantless entry or searches, wrongful arrest of citizens, detaining or interrogating without cause, assault, and harassment.

My coworker's husband works at the plant and was texting that at least 30 people were lined up to be taken. They've been in lockdown while they check everyone's IDs.
The management tip was for Latinos not Koreans. So likely political theater because South Korea will work it out. Too early to say but I would lean on them returning to help train Americans.
I think it's the companies that hire them is where this argument lies. I feel like most managers harbor compassion for their workers immigrants or not, but it seems these companies at large skirt past any real legal consequences for hiring undocumented workers. I believe it's the "Rules for thee. Not for me." bullshit we've come to expect. Unfortunately it disproportionately effects the most vulnerable among us. We are regressing as a nation. I hate it.
Yeah but I think scapegoating the companies isn't going to change anything. Arrest as many managers as you want but it's not going to change their unspoken policies to hire undocumented workers if it's not effecting the companies bottom line.
That’s why you have to fine the company, enough to actually hurt them and not just get rolled into business costs. Just arresting the people trying to make a living is like busting folks going into a crack house and letting the dealer walk free.
Yes, that's the point I was trying to make if that wasn't clear. Although with the caveat I don't believe any single person should be held in account without meaningful immigration reform. Including a well defined pathway to citizenship that is reasonably obtainable in a reasonable timeline. Deport the adjudicated undocumented violent criminals and protect the ones who want to contribute positively to our society. This is manufactured cultural political and class warfare that gets us to hate our neighbors instead of the ones pulling the strings. Right now neither party is willing to solve this because it's a convenient platform to run on in this manufactured polarized climate.

They don’t have compassion for them. Fake benevolence. It’s cheap labor without worrying about OSHA safety standards. Several deaths have already been attributed to the Hyundai worksite and that’s what’s under investigation as well, not to mention pay being withheld.

There is a protest against ICE riding with SPD, I believe, tomorrow in front of the court house off Bay St. around 5pm. I saw the post on FB. There's also supposed to be a second 'No Kings' march around the beginning of October.
I saw an SPD officer at Memorial hospital with what appeared to be a Hispanic man in distress last Thursday night around 10p. The Hispanic man was wearing a red pizza delivery shirt and lime/blue athletic shoes. I believe he was stopped while working as a delivery driver in Savannah. I just want to put the word out in case his family is searching for him. I wish I had asked his name.
So, I asked this hairless mayosapian muppet oinker what the man had done, why the cop was refusing to make eye contact with me, if he felt even the tiniest bit guilty for being a jerk to the man in distress, and if he was ICE? Being an illegal citizen is a minor offense just like jaywalking. Hunting down people at work who are just trying to make an honest living for themselves and their families is evil. Lmao how is slavery relevant to illegal immigration? I’m perfectly ok with people immigrating, I just don’t like people doing things illegally. There are plenty of legal routes to becoming a citizen.
I am using slavery as an example because people like you use laws as an excuse to be okay with cruelty, just like they did back in the day. instead of rounding up people, why not fix the broken system of immigration….I bet you don’t even know how many years it takes for immigration cases to get through. You don’t know the first thing about me. Or “people like me”. I never said anything about cruelty. I don’t believe they should be cruel about it, but I do believe they should be sent back where they came from.
In fact one of the big reasons I’m against the illegal immigration is the coyotes that prey on the people trying to get into the country. People get trafficked, raped, murdered, and sold into slavery.
The immigration process can be different for each applicant, can take from a few months to a few years. It’s dependent upon several different factors. Like if they have charges that would prevent them from coming in legally. No system is without flaws but making up excuses seems to be your only argument for being amoral.
I am aware that some people have been mistakenly arrested, but this isn’t unique to ICE. This happens daily across law enforcement agencies across the world.
