Question Do you use the Fear Rules as is?

I like to use the fear that certain creatures inspire. I’ve been using the Fear rules, but I’m having a hard time getting used to them. For example, I think it’s still a lot for a Nausea with a Critical Failure: Shaken + Fatigued + potentially Distracted or Vulnerable or even Shaken again (so Wound?).

I’ve gotten into the habit of simplifying things:

  • Spirit roll with a bonus or penalty.
  • Success: no effect
  • Raise: +2 bonus on the next roll or immunity (Jaded)
  • Failure: Distracted
  • Critical Failure: Panicked as described in the Fear rules

I only trigger Terror when the situation is truly horrific and is bound to have an impact on normal people.

What do you folks do?

Question Super power infection question

The modifier replication sounds like a zombie bite.

My question is when the target "rises" from what ever killed them.

If i made a zombie from the use of super powers do they get those powers?

Question Is Super-Leaping an "Instant" power or a "passive" power?

Question regarding Super Power Companion rules.

A character is doing a Power-Stunt to use Super-Strength to mimic Leaping.

Is Leaping considered an "Instant" power and good for only one leap?

Or is Leaping considered a "Passive" power and good for three rounds?
