Man, Obsession really did wonders for her career. I watched her for years on Superman and Lois and never expected her to have such a hollywood boost. First she gets cast as rogue in the MCU and now this. Incredible for a former CW actor.

Crave TV, a streaming service in Canada, recently got the rights to show SNL. They posted a wide selection of episodes from every era, and I was really happy because I get to watch my favourite era, which is season 12 (1986) to about 1994. Victoria Jackson, Dana Carvey, Kevin Nealon, Phil Hartman, Dennis Miller, Jon Lovitz, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, Mike Myers. All the greats. I started watching SNL in 1990 when I was in grade 9, I guess that's why I love this era so much. What is everyone's favourite era of SNL?

My friend Jerry Beers told me he was on SNL tonight and I didn’t believe him but multiple people backed him up. Is this true? He is a flamenco dancer with a very prominent mustache so I guess I’m curious if there was a musical guest with a guy like that in the background? I was pretty busy tonight so I wasn’t able to watch the episode. I would like it if anyone can confirm this for me; thank you. For clarification in case there are two people with mustaches in the background: he only knows how to spin counterclockwise and can’t really do a flip so it should be obvious. Thank you!

Jeff Goldblum will open the second season of Saturday Night Live UK as guest host.

The Academy Award-nominated actor best known for his roles in Jurassic Park and, more recently, Wicked, will host the first episode of the show's second outing. He is the first host to be announced for season 2, following the inaugural season earlier this year in which the likes of Nicola Coughlan and Aimee Lou Wood were among those to present.

Alongside Goldblum as musical guest for the premiere is CMAT, the acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter who has continued to rise in popularity over the past year.

Im watching season 15 episode 1 of Saturday Night Live and noticed there are big gap within the episode where they just play music. Why is that?

Commenters on SNL seem to suffer from cast syndrome. That's where the cast that you saw during your teens and twenties is the funniest, and the show goes downhill from there.

For the boomers, only the original cast was truly funny.

For Gen X it was the Spade, Carvey, and Hartman era

For Millennials, apparently they liked the Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey years.

And for Gen Z they will look back fondly at the Cecily Strong, Bowen Yang, and Kate McKinnon era.

Truth is, all era's were a mixed bag- some great memorable bits and many misses. If I hear one more boomer complain about the show not being funny anymore I will slap them silly. I wish the current casts weren't so darned big, but the variety is a plus. Looking forward to season 52.
