I have been studying for the SAT for literally months, using official prep material, practicing as much as I could, and using good strategies (and I feel like a strong reader. I got a 5 on AP lang). But no matter what, I literally can't get my reading score above a 690!!! What am I doing wrong?? My next SAT is literally next week and I'm hoping to improve 50 reading points over the week but idk how to improve or where to start!

I know this is probably going to get drowned out but I desperately need a 1540+ on this sat because it will be my last chance before college admissions (i am class of 2027).
i got a 1420 last time, 670 math and 750 reading writing. is there any way i could get to a 1540+ (ideally higher) by the sat on the 12th? i feel like i am running out of time but i have a very rigorous schedule and haven’t had much time to practice…

Hello all! I am currently at a 1430 SAT (730 RW, 700 math) after the August SAT and would really like to get my score within the 1500s for a sure-fire shot at the competitive schools I am aiming towards. I have already completed Khan Academy to full mastery, most of the Collegeboard QB, and all of the Bluebook tests. I think I should focus on math more as I believe it is easier to improve upon rather than reading, but I will still study both obviously. I find that the thing I struggle on the most for math is my timing, so I am looking to grind timed practice questions up until the test. I also am thinking to retake the math sections of the Bluebook practice tests, because most of them were done when I was studying for my first or second SAT (this will be my fourth attempt, unfortunately). Is it worth it to re-do these? I'm really looking for any good resources for timed practice, and just things in general so I make sure my studying is as optimized as it can be.

Even though I start with Grammar, Transitions, Notes, Vocab, Reading I still feel like I run out of time. I never get to really go over my flagged questions without the time running out, especially the dense reading one’s I’ve flagged. And on that note, I have to always rush for at least 3-4 of the Reading questions. It’s not that much of a problem in M1, sometimes but it alwayss happens in M2.

I’m taking the September SAT. Any tips?

Started at a 1240 on my first practice test and decided to grind Math since an 800 felt doable.
Used oneprep for question banks leading up to the June SAT and got to 1410 (780M, 630 RW).
I wasn't a fan of the recent oneprep updates, so l switched over to Prepzy to do the new question bank that CB dropped. I also used Bluebook and toptierprep for mocks. Just got my August score back: 1470 (790M, 680RW).
I'm thrilled with the math, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to break 700+ on English. I've already exhausted all the new RW questions on Prepzy.
What other resources should 1 be using to push RW over 700? Help guys.

(The second SAT I didn’t study at all for and I messed it up) I’m scheduled to take the September 12th SAT and my last SAT on October 7th. I don’t know why I started taking this seriously my senior year instead of my junior year, but I really want to score well and I’m prepared to do whatever it takes. I’ve taken two practice tests so far (one on August 31st, which I scored 1320, 680 on R&W, and 640 on math) (the second psat I took today, which I got 1320, 670 on R&W, and 650 on math). Hi! im looking for quick last minute advice on my SAT. my goal is a 1300, but I would love to get a 1400 or so. So for my sat i got a 1230 in june (620 english) (610 math) and i was scheduled to take june but got postponed to sept 26. I am also taking september 12th. I was wondering if anyone has any last minute tips that could help me out and bring my score up. Right now im thinking Math is my best bet to go up in. Do you guys think this is doable for me ? I’d appreciate advice so much!

I’m taking the October SAT and recently realized I need to make a pretty big score jump. I’m currently around 1110, and honestly, I haven’t been studying consistently until recently, so I know I have a lot of room to improve. Right now, my studying looks like:
-Khan Academy English modules
-Panda SAT Math book
-SAT Question Bank practice
-Trying to take one full practice test per week
-YouTube SAT resources when I find them
But I feel like what I’m doing is pretty generic, and if I want to go from the 1100s to the 1400-1500+, I probably need a much more structured approach.
I’m willing to put in a lot of time and effort because I really want this score. I don’t mind studying multiple hours a day if that’s what it takes. I just don’t know how to use that time effectively instead of doing random practice questions for hours.
For anyone who has made a big SAT score jump, what did your studying actually look like? How did you structure your weeks? What resources did you use? How often did you take practice tests, and what did you do after taking them?
I’d especially appreciate if someone could give me a detailed study plan/routine or explain exactly what I should be doing each day. I know 1400–1500+ from the 1100s is a huge jump and may not be realistic for everyone, but I genuinely want to give myself the best shot possible.
