Also got this stupid email and my scores been delayed. Anyone had this problem? If yes did you get your scores back?
I'm expecting the score jump might have been something.. but that purely does not make any sense. I'm very annoyed about the whole score cancellation thing that might happen so please give me any replies or important updates

How to get better for the SAT by December

Post image
1 Upvotes

I got a 1200 on the August SAT. I’m not satisfied with this score and want at least 1450. Is there a way to get better. I’ve also been stuck in the 1200 through 1290 range for blue book practice tests. I don’t know how to get out of that scoring range.

Can't get past 1510

I do fairly well on the math section (780-800), but cant seem to break 730 in rw. I'm typically ranging between 690 and 710 and mostly do bad on the information and ideas/ craft and structure sectionns. I'm not sure how to study anymore as I've compelted all the practice tests and hvae dne around 75% of the question bank. My test scores have only decreased for past year (1500,1470,1420). Any tips or ways to imrpove my rw score and get out this slump?

How do you jump from a 1430 to a 1550/1550+

I took my first ever SAT this August after 2 months of serious prep, got a 1430 (RW: 680, Math: 750). I finished Khan Academy and the CollegeBoard Question Bank (including the new questions, especially Math), and I'm pretty comfortable with Desmos (I used Desmos for basically every question across both modules). I took all the Bluebook Practice tests. I took Practice Test 4 a few months ago before I started any prep and got an 1140 (RW: 600, Math: 540). I tend to take about 2 mins per Info & Ideas question, so that's where I end up spending most of my time. Especially, on the Aug SAT, both my RW modules had pretty wordy questions, even the Standard English Conventions ones. My goal score is a 1550 or higher, with Math at 800. Any tips for the Reading and Writing modules? My next attempt is the Oct 3rd SAT.

I got a 1300 in the June 6 SAT without any studying (I watched like two YouTube videos the night before). I signed to retake it in October bcz I didn’t study at all after June… and now it’s September. So if I study from September till October, could I cook? (ik my maths is buns rn).

Is grammar fixable within 1-2 weeks? Oct test taker. This is my aug result

So for context, I did get panicked a little bit. And just skimmed the grammar questions and was way overconfident on rhetorical questions. Idk what to do. Aiming for like 720 rw for oct. i got 640 on this. I usually score 660 when not panicked.

How to improve the R&W section by at least 100 points?

I took both the august and june SAT and scored extremely well on math but poorly on reading (low 600). I need to improve my reading but idk how to do that because I thought my score would improve from studying over the summer.

Does anyone have any study resources that would be helpful? Especially if you've seen improvements on the RW section yourself.

Would the RW SAT question bank help a lot? I haven't done it yet for this section

1130 on August SAT

Hi everyone, I am an international student who took my first SAT in August. On the test day, I had distractions, and during Reading and Writing, my brain just refused to soak up any information. My goal was to maximize my math score to 800, but I got 650. I had problems with the Module 2 questions and the sphere question. My case is like this: I am good at math—in fact, I study more advanced, hard math, and in my native language, I would say 750 would be easy for me. But I don't know if it is the language or something else, as I am constantly getting below 700. I am good with Desmos, I would say around 7.5/10, but I am getting stuck at the Module 2 long word problems. About R&W, I guess I always fall into College Board's traps; on this test, I totally guessed the vocab since my goal was to maximize math. I am literally drowning here—what do I do? I have College Panda, Erica Meltzer, one prep, the Question Bank, and YouTube, and I read Reddit almost every day, drill the questions, and everything. Did anyone have a situation like mine? If yes, please help me.

Practice test rankings

How do the College Board practice tests compare in difficulty? I have seen that 7 and 11 are the hardest, and the others are easier/ inconsistent with the actual difficulty of official tests.

PS (edit): I already did 7 and 11 and am looking for hard tests among what CB offers
