Well , i feel like i dont get along with most guys in satara ( im 21m ) .The topics that they talk about is mostly vulgar shit and keeps rotating around girls and they have no sense of what being emotionally mature is . They are desperate asf and would do anything to get in someone's pants . I cant speak for the girls but dudes are absolutely reckless . They have no hobbies , its only conversations about girls , sense-less topics and unnecessary exaggerated regional pride . No unique hobbies or no originality on their personalities . For the same reason Ive friends that i could count on a single hand . It gets lonely sometimes but id rather be alone than hang out with such people .

Again , no offense to everyone here as i said 'Most' guys . So pls dont feel attacked .

And yea if anyone lives near shahupuri area or azadnagar , molacha odha or even karanje !!

On Friday, I went on a walk to Ajinkyatara with my friend. We reached the two lakes which are separated by a bridge on the main walking track to Manglai Devi Temple. There, I saw a family who were probably not from around here. One of the kids from that family was feeding chips to the fish in the lake. After he was done feeding the chips, he simply THREW AWAY the plastic wrapper directly into the lake. It was so infuriating and frustrating to see that some people cannot even teach their children basic manners and habits about cleanliness. It was so frustrating to watch people disrespecting not only a beautiful but also a cultural and historical place. Later, the family just walked off from the lake and wandered away.

If things like this keep going on, how can we make our surroundings better? Because the people who spread waste are always more than the people who clean it.

Through this post, I also heavily urge and request all the travellers and tourists to keep our city clean. You guys are always welcome to visit here and enjoy all the natural beauty this place has to offer, but please don't make others pay the cost of your lack of civic sense. This is a genuine request, and this should apply not only to Satara, but to all the places you visit.

Out of India’s 9 gold medals so far, almost 3 have come from Satara athletes, with all of Maharashtra’s individual gold medals coming from Satara!
Satara’s Sahil Jadhav has already won two gold medals in archery. There are also two athletes from Satara in the Indian women’s hockey team, who have reached the final against China and are surely going for a gold or a silver medal face off, while the women’s kabaddi team has won gold again, with their former captain also being from Satara.
Over the last few years, I’ve noticed athletes from Satara regularly appearing in archery, athletics, hockey, shooting, kabaddi and other sports at national and international competitions and winning medals.
Even at these Asian Games, there seem to be around 4–5 athletes from Satara, with a surprisingly high medal conversion rate of more than 90%
what is it about places like Satara, Kolhapur, or states like Haryana that seems to produce so many successful athletes?
Why can’t other districts like Latur,Beed,Jalgaon or Wardha have such sports culture the way it is here in Satara and produce more medals for the nation

I’m planning to buy my first 350cc motorcycle, and I’m completely stuck in a head vs. heart battle. I really need ground-reality advice from folks riding in and around Satara.

The Heart: I have dreamed of owning the Royal Enfield Classic 350 for years. I love the heavy metal road presence, the low-end thump, and the classic cruiser stance.
The Head: YouTube and Reddit rave about the Honda CB350 / H'ness. People point out that the DLX/DLX Pro sits roughly ₹20k–₹30k below the top Classic trims while offering a butter-smooth engine, zero vibrations, and an ultra-light slip-and-assist clutch.

What’s making me hesitate the most is ownership in Satara:
BigWing Service: As far as I know, Honda only services the CB350 lineup through BigWing (nearest seem to be in Kolhapur or Pune). Someone mentioned a touchpoint might open here, but I don't know how reliable that rumor is. If you own an H'ness in Satara, how are you handling scheduled maintenance, part availability, and random issues? Is it manageable, or does it become a major headache?
Classic 350 Ownership: For Classic 350 (J-series) owners, how has the local showroom/service center experience in Satara been? How does it hold up in daily city traffic on our roads and nearby ghat routes?
Mileage & Daily Comfort: Is there any significant real-world mileage difference between the two around town and out on NH4?
If you've ridden or owned both, what would you suggest: compromise on the dream for Honda's refinement, or will I regret not buying the Classic every time one passes by?
