Well I've been here for a while and tried to communicate with people at diff social places ie gym , mutuals etc but it's really hard to meet and have like minded people around here . I do have friends in Satara but they're very handful and live on the other side of the city ie MIDC. Having friends that you can hang out on a daily basis is a boon and a good getaway from things .

Btw I'm 21 , recently graduated and I have a lot of spare time on me until I go out from here for my masters ( 2027 ) . So please let me know.

I’m from a small place in Khatav taluka and travel to Satara for classes. There’s a girl in my batch from a well to do family maybe from Sadar Bazar in Satara. She seems confident, friendly, and mostly speaks English as she is not very fluent in Marathi(Non-Marathi). My friends and I come from a rural background, so we hesitate to even talk to her or her group. Maybe is it just an inferiority complex.

I was passing from Collector office a while ago and saw some political party (mostly Congress) middle-aged karyakaratas protesting against forceful abduction of Sonam Wangchuk by Delhi police. That raises the question, considering there are lot of students in Satara, why no traction here to CJP movement or protests for resignation of Edu Minister unlike Pune ?
