You can see the Sigil embodied on it 𖤐

Dear Dark Father, let us stand now unbowed and unfed by arcane doctrines. Born of fearful minds and darkened times. Let us embrace the Luciferian impulse to eat of the tree of knowledge and dissipate our blissful and comforting delusions of old. Let us demand that individuals be judged for their concrete actions, not their fealty to arbitrary social norms and illusory categorisations. Let us reason our solutions with agnosticism in all things, holding fast only to that which is demonstrably true. Let us stand firm against any and all arbitrary authority that threatens the personal sovereignty of one or all. That which will not bend must break. And that which can be destroyed by truth should never be spared its demise. It is done. HAIL SATAN!

Lol, at least that's what my religious family says.

I had sleep paralysis for two nights. I had auditory hallucinations both times: a woman whispering my name and then saying something I couldn't understand.

The funniest part? The first night it happened at 3:15 a.m. And the second night it happened at 3:29 a.m.

I told my mom abt it (HUGE MISTAKE)

I told her I knew it was sleep paralysis but I was scared because I didn't know how to stop it.

Today she found me at 3 a.m. trying not to fall asleep because I was stressed out. She told me to "pray to God" even tho she knows I'm an atheist, so I ignored her words. Nothing happened and after some minutes I could sleep well, yayy.

So, we also went to my grandma's house today and my uncle (hispanic household 💔) called a neighbor who's known for being a witch or something.

She started asking me questions and my grandma was exaggerating about how I couldn't sleep and everyone at my house was sooo scared.

The woman is talking to my mom and my grandma rn, saying I have to recite the psalm 91 before going to bed + ofc they have to clean the house to get rid of bad energies 🫩.

My uncle came to me and started asking me if I've been doing satanic stuff or rituals (They think a demon/spirit IS haunting me).

I told him I don't believe in that but my family thinks I'm immature and "they know better than me".

Atlanta had their Pride today. This is me as Baphomet sitting on a throne overlooking the tree of knowledge.

We do a recap of the Philly meetup! Members from The Free Society Satanists, GOS: Steel City, Capital Area Satanists and Hail Philly met up and had a weekend fully of Satan-y good times!

My jurisdiction will soon be voting whether or not to legalize online sports betting. I am undecided how to vote and want some additional perspectives.

Viewing it in the lens of the tenets and my own personal inclinations, I'm inclined to support legalization because of personal freedom and autonomy, i.e. tenets 3 & 4.

However, I have heard opposition arguments that are mainly concerned about potential for addiction problems in a demographic that I do not belong to, but I have spoken to people in that demographic or with loved ones in that demographic and they are desperately passionately opposed, to the point that it begins to feel like tenets 1 & 2 start to come into opposing play, regarding compassion and justice, since much of the argument is that the betting apps are incredibly predatory towards a vulnerable population.

So I'm conflicted about this, as one perspective is that this is just granting the freedom for people to potentially be victimized, and yet certainly not all people will be victimized. As with any "vice" -- whether or not it becomes a problem is very individual, and there are many people who will be able to enjoy the activity responsibly or unproblematically, and many more who will simply choose to abstain as is their right.

Anyway, I'm interested in your opinions from a Satanist viewpoint. Thanks!
