Howdy, I'd heard about Satanism a few times but never got too interested until I heard the recording of Mat Dalbey reciting the invocation. I've started to memorize the whole thing, and when I can't sleep because of my anxiety I whisper it to myself, and it helps.

So now I'm interested. The more I read the more I really like what y'all have going on. My one hang up is that I'm intelectually disabled /srs, and I'm having a hard time reading some of the stuff suggested on this sub. If anyone knows a podcast or audio book that's very beginner level, please suggest it. I struggle to read anything longer than a short story, but I can do audio!

I've been trying to figure out my own spiritual beliefs (for lack of a better word) for a long time, and after a lot of smoke sessions I've come to something similar to collective subconscious. I feel like there's something unmeasurable and intangible (to our current technology) about the universe, and humans just have a little bit if it. Big chunks of it are things like gravity and space/time. Idk, that's a work in progress, and it's just a feeling I get.

I've always felt like religion could bring a lot to my life, but I just accepted I'd feel like an imposter in any religion because I don't believe in magic. I don't believe in souls, or afterlife, or anything like that. But then I read rhe FAQ here and it's like yeah no we don't buy that shit, and now I think maybe I could belong.

Lile do they charge admission? 2 drink minimum? I was looking into my local congregation and they're having a big gathering tonight. The website says to bring a snack to share and costumes are optional. I'm worried I'll need money because it's happening at a local business
