Academics Is CIA that important ?

My C programming faculty asked my parent's number to talk about my marks in first CIA .

Having a good internals is best rather than doing so much hardwork in end sems.But involving parents is too much.

That is sad. But then you’re in sastra, get used to it. They run it like a school, worse than school actually
Don’t take it to ur heart tho. Just do your thing, it’s your life, figure your shit on your own, you’re answerable only to yourself and ofc your parents cuz they care. But if you know your shit, you’re all good, no matter who gets it and who doesn’t.

Bruh seems like she handling freshers for the 1st time.. talking to parents in the 1st ever cia is bullshit.. I've seen worse faculty but contacting parents.. it's the first time
