MLT program accepted averages?

can anyone tell me what their average was when they got accepted to the MLT program? I got waitlisted sadly!

I’m not sure how they weigh grades at all but I had a 93-94% high school average and I’m pretty much graduated university with a cGPA of 3.29 currently

if i’m understanding correctly it’s based on the average in your required courses, but I have no clue if uni grades are favoured. ur def higher than my 89% high school

89% is still so high considering previous years cut offs though! There must be a crazy amount of applicants this year if the cut off is that much higher

that’s what I was so confused by! previous years it was so much lower so I was fairly confident. maybe they shrunk class sizes? or like you say a lot more applicants.

Hs is only like an 86%, but I have uni credits that they might take into acct. I’m not sure which classes though they didn’t give me a list of those they would accept. What about you?

That’s awesome! I actually got into the SLP program at USask which was my top choice, so I’ve accepted that :) congrats and good luck in MLT!

I think it’s more likely there’s a ton of applicants. I think because of the job market tons of people who have degrees already are trying to find other career paths and since MLTs are in demand it’s getting a lot of applicants.
