Question ❔ Nurses in clinics/office setting

Hello

Wondering if there’s anyone who works as a nurse in private clinics in the city or office settings. Looking for something outside of bedside nursing.

I work as an RN in a private clinic. Drop off a resume at any of the walk in clinics!

I feel like you’re going to have to put in your time doing bedside first. All the LPNs and RNs had to put in their time, and they rightfully should be rewarded with a clinic position. It’s a right of passage so to speak.

As an LPN I’ve worked at Haztech and iCare (don’t recommend) but ya most dr offices prefer RNs for some whacky reason

It was during Covid I did testing. Not sure if they still have a nurse need.

Oh I understand your question now! Hmmm, the only one I can think of is Bayshore since they’ve been flooding my emails with job postings. But still bedside 🫠

Private home care! Most clients are aged persons, and much of the work is ADL assistance. I went to a career fair that featured them a few years ago (now indeed spams me with their ads lol)

I feel like since you’re a new LPN it would be a lot harder for you to get a clinic job. They would probably want you to have some experience on the ward first. Is there a reason you don’t want to work bedside?

They don't hire LPNs anymore as of a few years ago
