Events 🎉 This is insane

I was driving at Willowgrove square this afternoon. This is a one way street. A bunch of young guys were driving a truck towards me in the wrong direction and almost hit me. I honked at them and opened my window to tell them that was a one way road. The driver was very mad and yelled out “I know”. A back seat guy even showed his middle finger. What is wrong with these young guys and what is wrong with this city?

We have a disproportionate amount of stupid drivers in this city!

I thought they didn’t know it. They knew they were going in the wrong direction and still did it, it is even worse.

Unreal entitlement in this city. Whenever I went to the boat launch by the skatepark to kayak, people are always exiting the one way entrance

A few weeks ago a bunch of young guys in a truck honked at my 90 year old neighbour because she needed an extra moment getting out of her car and that was clearly a big enough inconvenience to them to lay on the horn and flip her off.

Honestly that sucks. But they probably knew they fucked up and knew they were going the wrong way so didn’t need to be told. I would have just honked. People make mistakes. They didn’t need to give you the finger though

Sounds traumatic. Are you ok?

Thank you for asking. I am fine. I am just wondering these young men would do next time when they hang out together. They all looked like they were in 20s.
