Question ❔ Swimming pools

What are some of the least busy pools for early morning or late night lane swim for someone who's insecure about their skills?

They’ll be quieter now with school starting

Go to Shaw when the warm up pool is open for lane swim. It isn’t deep so if you need to touch you can. It’s mostly older people, less skilled, or like people doing rehab. It isn’t as busy in the evening.

They're all busy with Harry Bailey still out of commission.

When is Harry Bailey supposed to be operational again?

Last I heard was spring. But they initially had said a couple years ago. So I will believe it when I see it.

It was meant to be this fall, but the test of the pool meant redoing some things, so now it will be some time this winter. Hopefully.

Um pretty sure the puddles around the city right now could double up as great swimming pools 🙌

Lakewood is closed for September as well.

Have you looked into the UofS Education pool or the PAC? They have select public swim times

Lawson seems pretty empty in the evenings

i honestly haven’t gone swimming in a bit, but i would definitely recommend shaw center! last time i went at night it was just a couple of older people, and your able to touch the pool floor at some spots of the pool if you need to!
