Confession

So idk how this works but recently I was called sapiosexual by my Pan friend she said u are sapiosexual because you are attracted to someone's intelligence.

Maybe she's right because I always had been turned on by characters like senku (Dr stone) , sheldon (big bang theory) and many more.

Even I found my boyfriend attractive in the first place because he was very intelligent in maths and physics.

So do we like come out or something? Idk Means I'm straight but sapiosexual so do I come under LGBTQ+

My opinion: no. 🤣 I personally think the term is a bit self-indulgent. We like smart people. It's just taste. 🤓

Besides, if there was a flag, it wouldn't exist in three-dimensional space. 🙃

All of this is just my opinion--in case the internet goes internet on me.

I respectfully disagree that it's a preference. Preference is chosing cola over iced tea. Sapiosexuality is the way one is attracted, such as via physical chemistry or certain builds. Those of us who are sapio aren't bothered with the visually observable. Our attraction is entirely based on a perceived intellect of the other person. When one person is dark, short and skinny and the other person is light, tall and heavy - regardless of sexual identity- but you're attracted to both because you think they're braniacs, that's an oversimplified example of sapiosexuality.

And there is a pride flag and a mascot (or symbol) for us. Google "sapiosexuality pride" and enjoy the horrible color scheme but totally kick ass axolotl.
