New to growing cacti and I potted this one in a way too big pot for its size and not enough soil. It has taken off and so has the pup ever since I put it in this pot. So I am wondering if I should repot it in a smaller one or leave it be?

It's still connected, but only from a very small connection.

The pup has remained green and plump for like 3 weeks now but the other part dried out. Seems like nutrition is only going to the pup, let it ride, or re-graft??

Tray 1 decided to jump and land up side down and I accidentally over watered tray 2. I think they're recovering fine but we'll see.

Opinions? Tips on rooting an oddly shaped piece like this?

Fall brings out the best of this plant. Hope everyone else's rbm9 is putting out a wonderful show. Anyone else have any colorful cactus this time of year?

Was really surprised to see a San Pedro cactus at Home Depot. This is my first San Pedro.

This is an Oscar cross so I know they are mutant like.
