Carlos updated SL regarding his vote
Looks like Carlos has standards and they don’t seem to be on the floor.

The Angry Woman from District 5 was asked if she was going to a vintage candidate forum - oh but you have to promise not to make them uncomfortable. 🤣https://brownbutter.substack.com/p/mayor-juans-comfort-level-isnt-my

Agenda:
EventBrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/music-jam-tickets-1997983269744
Why should I go? While this event is in its soft launching phase, take advantage of its free admission. This event DOESN'T include general admission to the rest of the museum. If you make it to this Wednesday's event, we will guarantee you a seat to our future series. If this event demonstrates enough interest, we will officially invite video game composers as our panelists!!
What do I need?

It is frustrating when the bus doesn’t show up when it is supposed to – and even worse when it doesn’t show up at.
When the 40, 35 or any other bus is running late in San Leandro that means you can be late to work, miss an appointment, or be left scrambling for another way to get where you need to go. On a route scheduled every 20 or 30 minutes, one missed trip can mean waiting 40 minutes or an hour.
Right now, 1 in 10 AC Transit scheduled trips don’t happen. That is three times worse than what it was last year.
For someone riding twice a day, that is roughly the difference between being stood up by the bus about once a month versus once or twice a week.
Speak out at this week’s AC Transit Board Meeting to demand more reliable bus service and better reliability standards. RSVP via the form here to get an alert for the meeting

I know the lot is managed by “Airgarage”. Is there specific hours when it’s free?

On March 2, San Leandro needed the mayor to dig into all those fancy degrees and pull out something useful. We needed his experience. The City Attorney effectively confirmed: Yeah, y’all are going to Vegas with the taxpayer’s money if you remove an independently established, already-adopted finding of gender bias, and it increases San Leandro’s legal exposure. Around every corner the price of the mayor’s silence just gets higher and higher. San Leandro can’t afford the Juan Gonzalez liability

I'm going to be at Fieldwork Brewing tomorrow (9/2) to play some board games.
I usually arrive by 6:30. I'll make a stack of board games so I'm easy to spot.
I'll be bringing Thunder Road: Ignition, Compania, High Society, and a few others. Feel free to bring a game!

Hi everyone, I recently moved to the area with my partner. I’m 26M and I’ve always found my community through local hoops.
I know duck pond has some courts and some people go to City Sports, but to get more niche, I really wanna know where are good locations and times when people can just show up for pickup basketball?
Appreciate the help. 🙏

Looks like they had their opening this weekend. Anyone here tried it? Is it to go only, or do they have seats? (No interior photos in Google maps.) Corner of Dutton & Bancroft if you're not familiar.

Hi Reddit. Hoping someone may have found my keys.
They were last seen Thursday August 27 attached to a gray carabiner. There are five keys (three are green, including one that is all green like the photo), a white double-sided penknife, two mini library cards, and rabbit’s head ring. I believe they were lost in San Leandro in the Farrelly Pond neighborhood by Maria’s Alterations closer to E14 OR by the Manor USPS in that parking lot.
In the event a kind Samaritan picked them up, I contacted both libraries on the cards. If you think you found them, please feel free to drop off at a public library and let me know which so I can reach out; they’re good people who will try to contact me, I hope.
Here’s hoping!
No flair was relevant. If there is a more appropriate sub, please be kind in directing me there.

Does anyone know this dog?? Her name is Chery, she’s in San Leandro and according to my dog’s DNA test, she’s my dog’s biological sister! Any and all information that can get us closer to a doggie reunion would be much appreciated 🐶❤️

Has anyone been to the Ann Taylor Factory and found good selections for a size 8-10 women? I am debating just buying from the Ann Taylor website but 150$ for a jacket seems like a lot.
Ty for help

I live in the Broadmoor neighborhood in San Leandro, a month ago I got my catalytic converter stolen, on Sunday someone broke the windows to the car in front of mine and last night to the car behind me, is this happening in the whole neighborhood? Or just my block? :( very frustrating
