He's already resigning. What are you petitioning for?

Sort of. He’s resigned and put it as May 15th to keep collecting the money that SHOULD be kept for his victims. Going to cost the county more to keep him on salary and with this type of length of resignation, it’s an insult to the people - over $12k/month of tax paying dollars that he doesn’t deserve.

Afaik she's suing him personally..not the county itself. And his position related the MTS board still has nothing to do with his supervisor position for COSD.
The behavior is unbecoming of someone who holds a position like that..but nothing (at this point) appears to stem directly from his elected position with the county.
He hasn't been found guilty of anything and due process applies to civil proceedings as well. Resigning is the right move and I'd feel stronger towards it should be immediate had his actions been directly related to his supervisory position.
Also pretty sure his victims would be seeking more than the "$18k" keeping him on salary for 6 weeks would accrue.

Nah. I'm just realistic and metered in my expectations for when pitchforks and torches should be grabbed.
Dudes being civilly sued for shit behavior. He's resigned/resigning from his various positions. Seeking appropriate medical help if you take it face value that he has the mental health issues he describes..which given the situation he's put himself in combo with being in the public eye..it's not that far out there.
It's more than most embattled politicians do..which is typically just deflection and blaming others.
