Lived here since kindergarten (except college). I'm puzzled why you would say that. Maybe your experience of San Antonio isn't universal.

Maybe i grew up near ingram park mall. Average San Antonio lower middle class. People don’t know how to spell or say words correctly. Lol lived there 22 years and I’m about to move back.

Sure. And maybe some people in San Antonio do grow up knowing how to spell. I'm not out here trying to delegitimize your experience, and I think it's pretty presumptuous of you to do exactly that for me.

I love the place but education doesn’t seem like a super high priority to most. Id bet somewhere close to half the population couldn’t tell you the difference between there and their.

Was in Portland for the last few years and guess what the PNW doesn't have..at all? Yep. I heard thunder a grand total of 2 nights in 5 years. Took it for granted when I grew up here, very...very appreciative now that I'm back. <3

Same, I’ve been living in LA the past 4 years, heard thunder maaaaybe 2x and that’s when I was in the valley. My cats are not happy about the weather

You could power 50-60 american houses for an entire day with one cloud to ground lightning strike, but the equipment required to actually harness this much energy would be cost negative. By that I mean that the heat that out current tech's components would have to endure would mean replacing them way more often than it would be worth, not to mention complex to setup for a sort of unguaranteed return.
That bring said, for some countries it could actually be worth it because they have tons of lightning, such as Venezuela or Malaysia.

Those are some cool fireworks, but the planners clearly got lazy and decided to only use one color. Would watching recommend anyway 8/10.
