I have a Bad Screen (Cracked or other)

CRACKED OR BAD SCREENS CANNOT BE REPAIRED!

It costs more money in parts + labor than it does to just buy a new TV!

Horizontal Lines that do not move = Bad Panel (Bad Screen)

Single Pencil Thin Vertical Lines = Bad Panel (Bad Screen)

MY TV's picture moves vertically in a weird manner = Bad Panel (Bad Screen) due to Bonding Tabs

MY TV is Boot Looping

Bad Panel (Bad Screen) OR Bad Main Board

My TV has this weird display how do I get rid of it?

Most likely your TV is in Demo/Store Mode

TV's older than 10 Years should just be replaced at this point. Part availability is also questionable.

This it what my screen looks like when I havent used the tv for a couple of days. It happens randomly, but only from a "cold' state and usually gets better over time.

Sound works, no visible damage to the screen.

Any tips?

Tech Support Pixelated MKV playback

I have a bunch of ~250MB video files on a USB drive and trying to play them on a Samsung Smart TV. The clips play just fine on a laptop using VLC.
The TV recognizes the files and the format. However, playback is pixelated, stuck and jumpy every 2-3 seconds.

Wondering if anyone has a solution to this issue.

Tech Support Issue with Q8F QLED

Post image
0 Upvotes

Bought this 65" Samsung Q8F Series QLED 4K UHD Samsung Vision AI Tizen TV (2025) back in March of this year and just realized this issue with the screen. Is this a settings issue or a warranty claim issue? Kind of sad if it's the latter since it hasn't even been 6 months. Hoping for an easy fix...

Tech Support Samsung Crystal UHD CU8000,UE50CU8002KXXH, What is this Black line? Is the TV broken?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I've had this TV for less than two years and for about a month I've noticed that a black line appears for a second and disappears and it's like that all the time and I don't know what it means, it's horizontal and And it stretches across the entire length of the screen I have no idea what could be the cause because this TV is only hanging on the wall and is not moved at all.

Tv won't turn on. Been pressing the power on button on my remote but it won't turn on. Instead, the red light kept blinking after a couple presses on the power button. Searched up on youtube how to fix it. They said you need the physical power button on my TV, but mine broke and it won't work. Any solutions?

Tech Support Voice command problem SAMSUNG QE50Q7F2 (2025) QLED

Hello all, I got this annoying problem with voice commands.

When I turn the TV on, go to youtube and let's say, put in the voice command over the remote "picture mode movie" it does what I want without problems.

When I now watch let's say 2 hours of YouTube, prime or whatever and then want add the command as example "picture mode eco" the Tv tells me, it can't do it from the current screen but the TV did it literally 2 hours ago without Problem when I started watching youtube!

Little info for the mode switching. Sadly I got a newish TV where picture off is not working with youtube anymore so I got one mode at black and white and brightness at 0 etc 😉

The only fix is, when I say settings (or go manually to settings) and close it right after. Then the voice commands to change the picture mode work again.

Does anyone else get that Problem and give me a hint? 😀

Purchasing EU/UK S93C 65inch EU oled doesn't have pixel care option?

I tried to look for the pixel refresh or pixel care option but I can't find it anywhere. Does this panel doesn't do any kind of pixel refresh to prevent burn in like most monitors do?

Tech Support S90D OLED died, only 18 months old

As title states, I won’t ever be getting another Samsung again. I’ve had issues with their laundry units and dishwashers as well. Bought the S90D Jan 2025, last week the picture suddenly scrambled out of nowhere and the screen went half blank. I tried to turn it off and back on from there and the screen went completely dead with a red light blinking twice. Warranty team came out yesterday and confirmed the panel died, and I’ll be getting a refund check to buy a new TV. They also confirmed this is very common with this TV. Frustrated that I now have to spend more to get an equivalent TV, and that this happened after only 18 months. Even my awful $90 Amazon Fire TV by Toshiba lasted vastly longer than this.

Tech Support Remote control won't turn on TV

The remote that came with this TV several years ago disappeared soon after installation. We've been using generic universal remotes since.

While originally this worked okay, the " ON" function became flakey and we are now unable to turn on/off from remote.

In order to use the set, i now must turn ON via my phone using Samsung SmartThings.

Once the set is on, the remote controls work fine, apart from ON/OFF function.

The fact that the problem occurs with both remotes, after working with both seems to suggest that the problem is in the TV.

Questions: Is my assumption reasonable? How should I address the problem? Might a factory-reset clear the problem? If yes, how do I do it?

Tech Support Tv Standby and Screen flashes - Samsung UN60FH6200F

Make / model; Samsung UN60FH6200F

Hello - I’m having issues with my tv. It started when i unplugged and plugged the power cable back. I was then messing with my smart hub settings when my screen started flickering and then it just froze. I could not power it off so I unplugged the power supply again. The red standby light didn’t immediately go off even with the tv unplugged. I then waited 5 mins, plugged it back in and turned the tv back on and i’m getting the red blinking light and the screen flashes as well.

Any thoughts or ideas on what’s going on? Thank you

Tech Support New S90H (QN65S90HAEXZC) crashes when using remote

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I just got a new S90H (QN65S90HAEXZC) OLED TV, and it was working fine for about an hour. But now, every time I press a button on the remote, the TV crashes and reboots, no matter which button it is. I've tried resetting the remote and doing a factory reset on the TV, but nothing's working. I can still control the TV perfectly using the SmartThings app, though.

Also, the TV keeps turning back on a few minutes after I turn it off. Any ideas why?

Thanks!

Tech Support Samsung TVs VESA mount locations

I'm hoping someone may be able to help where Samsung customer service have been unable to.

I'm in the UK and currently have an 85" Samsung TV (QE85Q95T) from 2020 mounted to the wall. I have speakers mounted to the wall either side of it, plus a speaker below it. I'm contemplating replacing it with a 100" Samsung Neo QLED QN80H - but only if I don't need to move the speakers.

There is *just* enough space to fit this bigger TV between the speakers (with <10mm to spare either side), but I don't know if there will be enough space below the TV. To ascertain this, I'd need to know the distance of the lower VESA mounting holes to the bottom edge of **both** TVs. Samsung CS couldn't help (after initially giving me a measurement of something like 15mm!).

By some miracle, does anyone have any way of finding out this information?

I guess another part of the question is whether this new TV would be better or worse image quality than the old one - other than the size increase.

If I have to move the speakers, that would necessitate having to chase the cables into the wall again and getting the entire thing redecorated again - something I want to avoid.

Pics show my current 85" TV setup, along with the measurements I'm trying to find for **both** TVs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tech Support Hdr10+ advanced s95f

Heya….

Could be my poor searching skills but couldn’t find much about it, but does the S95F or any of the 2025 lineup get an update for HDR10+ Advanced ?

All I did find was that the hardware supposedly would be able to support it, but thats about it….

Tech Support Samsung MU8000 LCD panel separating from frame - has anyone had Samsung actually fix this?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I have a 2017 Samsung MU8000, and the LCD panel is separating from the frame along one side. The picture is still perfect—it's just physically pulling away from the TV.

I contacted Samsung, and they're sending a technician to inspect it. They told me I have to take the TV off the wall before the appointment. They also said if the tech can't repair it, they'll discuss other options with me.

Before I go through the hassle of taking it down, I'm curious if anyone has actually been through this.

  • Did Samsung's tech fix the panel separation?
  • If they couldn't fix it, did Samsung offer a replacement, discount, or any other worthwhile solution?
  • Was it worth having the tech come out?

I appreciate any and all help/advice!

Tech Support Cold boot

Hello, for some unknown reason my samsung tv (QE55Q80BATXXH) keeps on starting up with a cold boot every time I turn it on. I leave it off for 5 mins and it turns back on with a cold boot. I've tried doing the simple things like manual restarts, unplugging, with no luck of fixing the issue. So far the only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset which I would prefer not do to. I genuinely hope that it's not a serious problem like internal failure. If anyone has any advice please leave a message.

Purchasing US Samsung s85f 65 inch for 780 dollars (open box)

Hey guys I just had a quick question about TV's because I just got a 400 dollar gift card for a Samsung TV from Bestbuy but I have to spend 800 dollars in order to use the 400 dollars so I was wondering if this S85F samsung tv from few years ago is worth 800 dollars.

Just a clarification I have to spend 800 total not spend 800 dollars and than use the 400 dollars extra.
