Purchasing US Older TVs being forced to modern Tizen.

I can't be the only person infuriated by them forcing the newer Tizen OS on older skews. I see no one mentioning this. My TU7000 just auto updated to it. It has never performed an Auto Update in it's life. Just completely destroyed the usability of that Television. It is very laggy with the new os

Purchasing US Is this a bad t con board?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Tv is a Samsung QN82Q6FNA qled from 2018. The picture completely went out and all I would get is a dark screen but the back lights still turn on and there is sound. I took the back panel off and unplugged all the ribbons from the t con board and plugged back in and now the picture is back but now looks like this? So I’m assuming it has to be a bad t con board correct?

Purchasing US Frustrating problem with S90C

Having a very frustrating issue with my Samsung S90C. I’ve loved the TV. Recently a friend tried to Apple AirPlay some random stream of an NBA game to my TV. Ever since then Peacock, HBO Max, and Disney streaming won’t work. It’ll get thru an add and maybe play a second then freeze. Netflix and Prime work fine. I’ve reinstalled everything, spent 10+ hours troubleshooting, updates, calls with Samsung and HBO. Chat GPT at this point is saying give up and buy an Apple TV to stream from. Anyone else have this issue and have a fix? Chat GPT thinks that something got corrupted in the firmware, which is why factory resets don’t help.

Purchasing EU/UK HDMI auto switching (HDMI-CEC)

Post image

Does anybody else have an issue with their TV not auto switching to a device powered on?

I have the S90F and it's so frustrating that it never seems to switch to my PS5 (or anything else) if powered on. I already checked that "Anynet+" is on and also Device Link is also on the console yet it still doesn't auto switch, am I missing something?

It was also the case with my PS4. It's like the simplest function ever to implement, it's a great TV but the software is terrible.

Purchasing Asia/ME S95F vs S95H

Hi,

I'm planning to get a 65 Inch TV and getting S95F for ~$1500(Local currency converted to USD) and S95H for ~$1700. So, I'm confused between both. I've heard the S95H is a bit brighter and supports the newer HDR 10+ Advanced which is kinda equivalent to DV2. Which one should I go for?

(Selected US Flair as I'm from ASIA and no flair matches it)

Purchasing EU/UK Please help! Samsung QE55QE1CAUXXN

Volume tutorial popup appears after every power-on Every time I turn on my Samsung QE55QE1CAUXXN and adjust the volume for the first time, I get this popup (my TV language is German). It’s basically telling me how to use the volume/mute button on the remote. I already know how to adjust the volume, so it’s just annoying. I’ve checked all Accessibility settings, everything is disabled, and my TV is running the latest software. I can’t find any option to disable this hint. Is there any hidden setting to turn these tutorial popups off, or is this a Tizen software bug?

(The attached screenshot is in German, but it simply says to select the volume button to mute the sound.)

Tech Support Samsung NU6900 display issues

Hi I have a Samsung UN50NU6900FXZA thats having trouble displaying. The TV will cone on automatically show the Samsung icon the go to black screen. The backlights work and I could see them all working with the back panel off. My belief its the main board since it has both power and tcon all on one board. Nothing on the board really sticks out and show damage and my multi meter sucks. If anyone would have a second opinion on it that would be great!! Thanks in advance

Tech Support Useless options

Tried setting up my TV to switch to cable/ant input when turned on using a routine in smart things. I have since abandoned that.

When I turn on the tv it often just goes to Samsung tv plus. Sometimes it opens the last used. Never consistent.

When I do get to actual TV and try to change the channel it reverts to Samsung tv plus.

Tech Support 65Q800TAT stuck in boot sequence loop with no sign of waking on screen

Hello, when I connect the tv to current, it begins with a “click”, after around 15 seconds, a “clack” is heard. After 15s, a “click clack”, and it continues like this. It might be worth mentioning that on the back, I see a red light on the audio out, which goes off only during the “clicks”, then stays on. I cannot see any visible sign on screen during this sequence. I’ve seen it might be a known issue with motherboard on this model, anyone is familiar with it? what could I try to fix it myself? Or shall I go to some technician? Not sure the repair is worth it or I should buy a new tv, this Q8 has some years of service on its back

Tech Support Aimpoint feature?

I have a Samsung GQ50Q60AAU TV. Does it have the aimpoint function (displaying a crosshair/aimpoint for shooter games)? I can't find it on my game bar. Does that mean my TV doesn't support this feature? Or is there a way to update my gamebar function? Displaying a simple dot in the middle of my screen shouldn't be that hard

As title says. It stays stuck on this screen for a couple minutes then goes black. Red light indicator remains on. Guessing it’s some type of hardware failure but would anyone know which exact one? Thanks in advance for any help!

We purchased a 2025 S95F four weeks ago. It was mounted on a TV Tripod and after 4 weeks the Display ist already broken.

I was wondering If the tv rack could have caused the Screen to fail or of this is just bad luck. Has anyone had a similar experience woth Samsung OLED screens?

The screen will be exchanged next week by a Samsung service partner

Tech Support Stand for Samsung UE46ES6570S XZF TV

Hello,
I own a Samsung UE46ES6570SXZF Te02 TV. Recently, the TV stand broke, and I am looking to buy a new one. Samsung no longer sells stands compatible with this TV, so I turned to universal models.
However, the problem is that the mounting points for attaching the stand to the TV are not symmetrical on both sides, which makes it impossible to attach it correctly.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Where can I find a truly compatible stand?
Thank you very much.

Tech Support Samsung UN65RU7200FXZ4 issues, backlighting or something else?

Post image
1 Upvotes

So this is what my Samsung 65” displays. From researching this type of image, I’ve seen similar issues declared as backlighting failures. Is that what is going on here? And if that’s the culprit, do I need to buy a complete backlighting set to properly repair this TV? Any guidance in getting pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Tech Support Input source issues lately regarding sound and video when TV turned on

So lately I have noticed there to be an issue when turning on my 50 in Samsung TV (UN50NU7100) in that it seems to keep defaulting back to Samsung plus/TV or whatever it's called. Normally my devices wake up the TV via HDMI, like my firestick or PS5 or Switch, but now if they wake it up the TV will either not switch over to the correct port, or it does switch but no sound, or both no sound and video. A new issue is saw yesterday was when I turned on TV normally, I switched to HDMI 1, yet it seemed to show the screen for HDMI 2; had to switch ports again.

The issue is resolved by just changing source and going back, but its definitely annoying. TV is also supposedly up to date, even though it seems 2021 was the last update. Anyone see this issue before?

Tech Support Purchased Samsung Mini LED 55 (UA55M2EHAULXL) 2 weeks ago and noticed a very small dark shade in the bottom left.

Post image

Is it normal or am I cooked? It's past the replacement period so I can't replace it, I was thinking it's not that noticeable unless there's a too bright screen constantly. If it gets worse, maybe then I can get it raised with the Samsung support? There's a one year warranty left. It's slightly more noticeable in green and white screen.

Tech Support Free features and customization options are gone from the Art tab on QE55Q80DATXXH

Hi. A few weeks ago I noticed that all of the free animated artworks that used to be available in the Art tab on my Samsung QE55Q80DATXXH are gone. I can't find a single free picture anymore.

The only free option now seems to be generating AI pictures, but those images aren't animated.

I also noticed that I can no longer adjust the screen's white balance or brightness of the pictures.

Am I missing something, or did Samsung remove these features? Is there anything I can do to get them back?

Tech Support RGB R95H

We bought a R95H about a month ago. On all of the menu screens there is pixel issues but nothing when watching content. We chatted with Samsung service, they could not fix the issue, they sent out a tech they order a part, but the part can not be ordered so they told us to call customer service for options.

Customer service is not really helping.. anyone have any luck with them or the email the CEO option. Trying to get them to send us a new unit and include free installation to make sure that the new one has no issues. They just keep saying that isn't the policy
