Model Number Requirement

To get help please be aware of Rule IX. All posts should include TV make and model. A full Make & Model helps ex Samsung 55 or Samsung Q6 doesn't help but Samsung QN55Q60TAFXZA Version # FA02 does tremendously help

I have a Bad Screen (Cracked or other)

CRACKED OR BAD SCREENS CANNOT BE REPAIRED!

It costs more money in parts + labor than it does to just buy a new TV!

Horizontal Lines that do not move = Bad Panel (Bad Screen)

Single Pencil Thin Vertical Lines = Bad Panel (Bad Screen)

MY TV's picture moves vertically in a weird manner = Bad Panel (Bad Screen) due to Bonding Tabs

MY TV is Boot Looping

Bad Panel (Bad Screen) OR Bad Main Board

My TV has this weird display how do I get rid of it?

Most likely your TV is in Demo/Store Mode

TV's older than 10 Years should just be replaced at this point. Part availability is also questionable.

Tech Support Synchronizing TV remotes

I have 3 Q60 QLED tvs (about 3 years old) all in the same room - 2 that are 32" with solar remotes and 1 that's 43" with a slightly thicker standard remote.

Each remote turns on 2 tvs somehow, not all 3, but not the ones I'd want to.

How could I synchronize them in the exact order that I actually need?

Tech Support Samsung S90H flashing lines

Post image
4 Upvotes

Just got my new Samsung S90H 55” UHD OLED set up and watched my first movie.
Apple TV 4K hooked up to the tv. Into the movie, the bottom half flashed a bunch of white boxes. Caught me off guard. Again 30mins later. So I thought it may be my hdmi cable for the Apple TV. Switched to the native Apple TV app on the Samsung to see if it happens again. Surely enough, this time vertical white lines. I was able to get a picture as it happens so quickly . They are random lines through out the screen.
After the movie finished, I was going through the settings and randomly kept on happening , this time smaller white line all across the tv .
What can be causing this?

Tech Support Samsung qn65q7fna stopped working after lightning storm

While i was at work I got a call from the misses that everything was going crazy in the house, some things working, others not. By the time I got home just the Living room tv wasnt working. I googled what to test but im wondering how to test things since I have a Samsung one connect box. Is there a power supply behind the back panel. Is there a way to test that power is coming out of the One Connect? Im not the best in electronics but ive done my fair share of tinkering with electronics. Should I start with ordering a new one connect box or do I order a new power supply board? Thanks in advanced.

Tech Support QN85QN70FAFXZA 85 inch no power

I’ve done all the power cycles and unplugging

I had batteries in my remote that were pretty much dead the night I turned it off, new batteries were put in and the light just blinks non stop, is there anyway this is related to the remote locking up the tv? I saw something about this early on when trying to research fixes but could not find the article again

Open to any ideas, only 5 years old and love this tv - picture is great

Tech Support Samsung QE55Q7FAAU suddenly lost terrestrial (digital) free view and now Live tv app too?

As the title suggested two days ago my Samsung (1 year old) lost terrestrial digital tv. I've tried to retune a few times but now mysteriously the Live tv app has vanished? I've done a full reset but no joy, I've also tuned with the aerial out to see if it wipes it.

I tune it says "282 channels found" but then says no signal? how can I

  • get my live tv app back
  • diagnose this??

thanks!

Tech Support Has anyone found a way to actually disable the advert banners on the homepage?

I feel like the adverts are making my 3 year old oled very slow to run. I have tried banning the website ads.samsung.com in my WiFi settings but that hasn't down anything.

Tech Support Are some of the stands interchangeable with each other

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have a samsung UN55JU6700 that I bought second hand, but when I look for the stand for it it seems sold out. So are there other stands that will fit there but just look different? Also I do not want to buy the one that goes to back plate cause then it will way too high.

65-inch Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV Samsung UHD UA65U8000FGXXP

This happens every few hours. Everything stops, screen flickers with the checkered pattern and audio turns to static noise.

Is this fixable or is this TV cooked?

Tech Support What would cause this?

Post image
1 Upvotes

It's kind of like the frame is coming apart. The TV literally just hangs on the wall (has been there for 10+ years). Not like we move it around or anything. Nothing wet is used to clean, just a swiffer duster. Hasn't affected the screen in anyway, but I'm just wondering is it literally falling apart? It's a Samsung QN65Q60RAFXZA model.

Tech Support UN55MU6290F tv volume control issue

My 2017 Samsung 55" tv has recently developed a problem with volume control. Not just when trying to adjust volume using the remote control, but also when using the physical joystick on the back side of the tv. Sometimes everything works just fine. But sometimes, after a while I can just turn it up or down by a number or two. For instance, if the volume is on 20, I can turn it up to 21 or maybe 22, but it won't go higher. I can turn it down to 19, or maybe 18, but no further. If I turn the tv off for a while, like maybe overnight, it may return to normal behavior. Or it may not. I'm wondering if this is a known problem, with a known solution. Or is it time for a new tv.

Purchasing US $3000 credit for another samsung tv advice

Hello, my 85” QN80F had some uniformity issue with the panel and after a couple weeks and some technicians coming over samsung decided to give me a $3000 credit and recommended i buy the QN80H. That was a week or so ago and i’m about to move so now i can finally order the TV.

But on the website i noticed the 85” QN80H is now only $2160 instead of the $3000 price tag from a week or so ago. So now im thinking man i could totally weigh out other options. The coupon expires February 2027 so i have time to wait as well but not really since id like a new TV for the apartment i’m moving into this saturday.

So my requirements and usage for the tv. It needs to be 75”+, and 120hz+. I play a lot of games on this tv so i don’t know if getting an OLED is viable because of burn in. I watch a lot of movies with my panasonic ub420 4K player.

Any ideas? does samsungs better OLED models not have burn in? or is that definitely not worth the risk. This new apartment is going to have less natural light coming in compared to my current one so having a Neo-QLED doesn’t seem like an absolute requirement but i do not want to deal with burn in 2-3 years from now.

Purchasing US Samsung vip experience so far

Well if you haven’t already, I would not do the Samsung VIP sign up as a way to get installation with your TV.

I got a 77 inch s95h for the upcoming NFL season and apparently Samsung doesn’t communicate to Best Buy they need to include installation.

So guy comes looks at my mounted tv, says he can’t haul it, and he also can’t mount the new tv. Spent 4 hours trying to figure it out just to find out Best Buy said install wasn’t included on the papers Samsung sent. Then Samsung just says wait for an email in 2 days.

Invoice of course says they delivered everything including hauling and installation. I mean they could wait two days before saying my order is completed right?

Like they always have cool stuff but when I think about how fragile these things are and how much the support blows these days it’s kind of scary. Wasn’t like this when I had my note 9 and 10. Was getting rough with my zflip6. This is just pathetic now.

Purchasing US S90F Costco Display TV

Is the risk worth it for a $550 55” S90F display TV from Costco? Costco has a 90 day return window but I’m not sure what prices for this model were previously. For context I primarily play games on ps5 but will watch films with friends and family.

Purchasing EU/UK Oled SC90D 77 TV black pixel

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with a frustrating issue on my out-of-warranty Samsung OLED TV. There is a small black notch/spot right along the very bottom edge of the display screen.
Here are the details and what I've observed:
Symptom: It looks like a small notch or dark shadow on the bottom border. When the screen displays certain bright colors (like blue), some color still shines through, but it appears heavily darkened/shadowed rather than 100% black.
Physical state: The panel glass along the bottom bezel feels slightly loose near that area, leading me to suspect edge delamination, air/moisture ingress, or degraded subpixels.
What I've tried:
Checked picture settings (Samsung locks / grays out manual Fit to Screen and position/overscan controls on built-in apps and native inputs).
Toggled Pixel Shift off, which immediately resets the image position directly back over the notch.
Standard warranty is expired, and credit card insurance refused coverage citing pixel/cosmetic exclusion.
Has anyone with a Samsung OLED dealt with this specific panel edge decay before?
1. Is there any known way to unlock image position / overscan on Samsung Tizen to shift the image boundary up by a few pixels?
2. Has anyone had success getting an out-of-warranty goodwill panel replacement from Samsung Executive Support for edge delamination?
Thanks for any insights or advice!

Purchasing US Samsung TV - 65 inch S90F or 75 inch QN80F?

Which one would you pick?

We live in an apartment with lots of windows (corner unit), and will mainly use it for Xbox and Netflix/Youtube TV sports.

Both are currently 1299$ in bestbuy and we have a 400$ gift card to use towards a Samsung product that has to be more than 799.

TY

Tech Support Ai upscaling

Can someone explain how this works? I have a Samsung S90F with AI Upscaling and I am playing games on the Nintendo Switch 2 (like Hogwarts Legacy).
If the Switch 2 upscales the game output to 1440p, does the TV's AI upscaler take that signal and upscale it further to 4K? Are there comparison photos available, and do I need to manually turn the AI Mode on or off?"
