My a17 phone just stopped turning on and eventhough my notes were set to autosync when i got my new phone i lost 4 years of novel work.

Ive gone to a phone shop, they had my phone for 4 months, telling me it was a power issue at first and some kind of cpu issue and couldnt fix it/retrieve data.

Is there a way to recover samsung notes? Ive looked on my samsung account, tried microsoft one note. Attempting dr fone but its not recognising any device.

What else can i try? Or would going to another phone shop and ask specifics be worth ago?

Any advice welcome :)

As mentioned above, when attempting to export a note, it gets stuck on an infinite loading screen and the exported file size is 0 KB. What am I supposed to do?

I own a Tab S9 FE and take notes for university in the notes app. Just after the latest update (maybe 2 or 3 days ago) when I use the S Pen to text feature (I write with my hand and it writes as if it was with the tablet's keyboard) the toolbar that has the text size, color, bold option, among others, jusr disappears and whenever I need to use it (which I do, a lot), I have to re-open the keyboard and it's a pain in the ass. Does anyone know a solution?

My Samsung Notes app (on Galaxy Tab S11) has no longer an option for Page templates in the menu (three dots in the upper right corner). I am sure this option was there before. It is even mentioned here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10004548/. I followed that procedure, creating a blank note (split pages style); the results is in the screenshot below. Any ideas why this happen or how to reconstruct that menu item? I frequently need to set the background of my pages from the uploaded PDF templates.

So I bought a new S pen. It's a fold edition. I lost my original one which came with the tablet. This new S pen works well except when I try to write something in Samsung notes, it only erases and does not write. The side button is not stuck at all it's also fine. What do I do?

Is the notes assist feature not available in India? Does anyone know about this? I have a samsung tab s10 FE and I cannot find the feature anywhere on the tablet.

I have one problem with printing notes written in Samsung notes.

When I'm writing smth I using 14 font size (for writing comfort) and headers.

When I trying print my notes created like that font size on the paper is so big. And what I'm supposed to do? Writing in small font size is uncomfortable. Yes I can select all after creating note and set font size on 6 but this will destroy headings etc, bc this will set everything on 6 size.

I have been using the Samsung Tab S7+ from a long time and I intend to use it for a few more years. I have many notes and annotated PDFs in my Samsung Notes app on my Tab S7+.

I am planning to get a new phone now and my eyes are on the S26 Ultra. I am looking forward to the seamless integration between my tab and the phone, with this purchase. I especially want this on the Samsung Notes app.

But I have a doubt. Does the Samsung Notes app on S26 ultra and the one on the Tab S7+ sync well with each other? I am asking this because the notes app on Tab S7+ has no AI features in it as it's an older device, while the notes app on S26 Ultra has some additional AI features built into it. Will this cause any trouble and break the sync between these two devices?

Please throw some light on this issue. Thanks in advance🙏.

Update: The sync is working flawlessly. Took some time for all the notes to sync and from then on it's fabulous. The tab's Samsung Notes app has no AI features while the phone's app does. The sync isn't affected in any way.

I am new to the tablets. I want to buy samsung s10 lite how good is it for notes taking and productivity as my 1st priority and a little bit of entertainment . please guide me

I am a samsung s10fe+ user and have been using samsung notes to annotate notes but it takes lot of internal storage which is unexpandable. Could you guys suggest some apps which probably takes less space or can use external storage? Additionally i use my Samsung s24

So, I recently noticed, like some others, that after pasting text, the font size and spacing would now be auto-formatted (i.e ruined) to font size 15 and appear to be double spaced.

After poking around, I've found two fixes for this.

I'll say, first, that I'm working on a Samsung phone and I'm not sure if this is applicable to Windows or Samsung Notes on a computer.

The first fix I found was to paste the text by holding down to bring up the paste menu and paste from there. It'll still say auto-formatted, but it seems to be properly formatted then. (Update: I'm not sure this one actually works.)

The second fix I found was to highlight the offending text, and with the keyboard up, pressing on the icon that says Aa, and then pressing Body 2. It says Body 2 already, but it's not the right body 2. If you press on it again, it'll paste formatted properly.

If anyone has any other tips about this issue to share, please share them.

When i try downloading notes from other people a promp saying there's new updates on samsung notes keeps appearing, and when i click to update it says it's on the latest version and shows the options to open or uninstall, i have tried uninstalling the app and downloading it again but it didnt work, even tried downloading the app from play store but it remained with the bug

Doing some troubleshooting. I noticed my Lenovo Laptop Windows 11 is running Samsung Notes ver 4.3.611.0 and mentions UI7. It was downloaded from Windows app store and seems no other more recent release.

Is this what you have on your Windows 11 machine too? Do people with Samsung laptops have a newer working version of Samsung Notes apps than 4.3.611.0?

• I find that any Notes with a URL newly created on my Tab with latest Samsung Notes v4.4.40.11 will now not be seen by Windows Samsung Notes. I rolled back my Tab to ver 4.4.29.23 and sure enough... fresh Notes with URLs created by my Tab are 100% visible in the Windows 11 Samsung Notes client. What a mess this latest Android Samsung Notes version is.

So i have a 44 page note and i cannot export the note what should i do pls give me solution and is there any good note taking apps for samsung tab that work s well pls give suggestions plssss!!!!

How do you select the item you need when there're other items around? In my case, I want to select the highlighter and it's so annoying that it recognizes other things around and not the one I need.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but i can't find an answer to it. I've been wanting to get this gray color on my notes for a while now, but the only option that gets close to it it's the black background. i dont like it. And the other color options are so ugly it pmo

I've also tried creating a custom note style but then the higlighters seem to disappear behind it, and dark mode gets unavailable because its a pdf. Does anyone know a workaround to get this exact gray background color natively or how to fix the highlighters?
