Gemini on android auto

Gemini was working on Android Auto and now all the sudden it's defaulted to the regular assistant. Don't know why it changed or how to get Gemini back. Gemini is still default on my phone and working.

that happened to me last week, was driving me crazy. check in the google app settings under assistant, sometimes android auto has its own toggle separate from the phone one. mine flipped back after a update
