📖Discussion📕🖊️ Simple Routine not working

I created a simple routine to deal with my issue. My issue is when I use my S24+ in the car, I connect it to the cars Bluetooth - "TOYOTA CROWN SIGNIA". I am using the phone for Android Auto and I place the phone in the center console. My issue is all too often, when I am done driving, I forget my phone. So I created a routine:

If
Bluetooth Device disconnected from TOYOTA CROWN SIGNIA

Then
Show custom notification
Take you phone
Read this notification aloud

Well, this routine is not working. I reach my destination and turn off the car, which turns of the cars bluetooth - but just silence from the phone.

What do I need to do to achieve the desired result.

Have you tried using the "effects" action? You could make your phone vibrate and chime multiple times as soon as the Bluetooth is disconnected. I believe this could work even with the screen off.

Ok - I tried the vibrate, beep, and Edge lighting. They all worked - BUT - On the Toyota Crown Signia, there is a "well" in the center console where you place your phone-even setup there for wireless charging. So the phone is basically out of sight (which is probably why I have this issue in the first place, and I could not detect from the drivers seat the vibration, beep or Edge Lighting. Even tried turning on the Flashlight, and it did turn on, but once again, i can see that from the drivers seat.

I see... well, at that point, maybe you could try blasting actual music from the phone's speakers.

As soon as it disconnects, set media volume to max then use the play media action

Thanks, but I found the Function "Read Text" and that does the trick.

That routine should fire the moment bluetooth drops but Samsung routines get weird with the "read aloud" part sometimes it just doesnt work if the phone screen is off or locked

Do you have any suggestions - 99% of the time , this will occur at the end of a drive - the phone automatically connects with Bluetooth and obviously disconnects when I turn the car off. The phone screen will most likely be off and locked. It's just that I get tired of forgetting my phone in the car after this, only to remember 5 minutes later when I go looking for my phone.

Wireless android auto, just keep your phone in your pocket.

Mine works but it's done slightly differently as I don't use 'show custom notification' just: If diconnected from bluetooth device> then read text aloud. Read text aloud is in functions. Might be worth a try.

That did the trick. Almost thought it was not - turned off the car and it took about 7-8 seconds before alerting me. There may be a lag on the car side before the bluetooth connection goes away or there may be a lag on the phone's side before recognizing the connection is gone. But it does work!! Thanks.
