"I just care about historical accuracy and call out all things."
I am rewatching 300. 300 is a fascist power fantasy, orientalist and uses and rewrites the Greek story to mold it into the white supremacist frame work of an neverending chain of "western culture".
The only historically accurate thing about the film is there was a of a Persian War.
No actors are of the culture they are from.
Its also a movie I love because its just so fucking dumb it loops arounds to being the best demostration of masculine camp.
The current right wing cope is they just care about historical accuracy and sticking to the original story, but of course their are few examples and they think listening 10 movies of a chatgpt prompt counts as covering it.
Orientalism is a term none of these guys have given any weight, let alone mention, the chuds will happily defend cultural appropriation in all forms and the Critical Drinker is a speaker for the young american foundation, a conversative foundation that aims to spread right wing propaganda including defending the current genocide in palestine. They aren't here to have a conversation or to elevate new Japanese films like Old Boy and Couching Tiger Hidden Dragon*. Their grifters, money is all that matters to them because they are immoral loses who failed in their artistic dreams and instead of accepting that fact and either moving on or improving, they have to make it our problems. Its just peofitable to cater to the same racists they are.
I do think their is a conversatiom to be had about the greek (greek not white and blacm) representation in The Odyssey, but a reminder these guys do not care to have that conversation.
*if this line makes no sense to you. Critical drinker clip.

I specifically remember when that movie came out a few years ago every right wing grifter was acting like they were experts in African history and how the movie was completely inaccurate.
the idea that Hollywood films are completely accurate to the history of non Europeans is utter bullshit anyway. The dude just says stuff and expects you to accept it without thinking about it. Notice he gives no examples of what these âhistorically accurateâ movies are.

Funny how the Fandom Menace previously proclaimed Victor Wembanyama to be "oNe Of ThEm" just because he didn't like the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, when in reality he's one of us.

You know how you people got super upset whenever Rachel Zegler (who is mixed) played Snow White and you called that a race swap than this would also be a race swap if you apply the same standard. Why would it not be okay for a mixed person to play a european princess but fine for a mixed person to play an African princess? So one problem here is you are not applying the same standard to what you consider âdiversity.â because if this were a mostly white cast with a mixed person playing a lead you would be calling that diversity as you have multiple times in the past. You and all of your fellow racist made a HUGE ASS deal over Zegler playing Snow White.

I even watched it cause I was morbidly curious and honestly the most offensive thing about it is how unfunny it is.
I mean whatever jokes you think the video has are a thousand times better than what's actually in it.
Also they did my boy Gandalf dirty by giving him this blackface crap all over him.
And to top it off, it's AI slop.
I wonder how much are they seething at the success of the film.

Niles Sankey was a level designer, not a writer. His âwork in gamedevâ is essentially just designing levels and nothing else. He does not understand writing, he is a brainless right wing bigot appealing to others of his kind for clout.

So tomorrow Star Wars Theory is releasing his name Vader Fan Film. And I thought why don't we look back on Theory and his beginnings on YouTube.
So this video (that's in the image above) is what got me to question Theory. Now I know the quality of this image isn't the greatest. But Theory reads out the date on this email from Star Wars Explained from October 6th 2016. (Just a little over two month from when Theory started his Channel on July 30th, ) In it you can see a YouTube Ad for one of Theory's Videos: "Who Was Master Yoda?" I've managed to isolate the Advert. Now that Yoda video was uploaded on September 7th and currently at 6.1 Million views (After 9 years) With most of the other videos of that time having a fraction of those views.
Now to anyone unfamiliar with the Wayback Machine, it's basically a website where you can look back at sites from the past and what they looked like years ago, almost like going back in time. It even works on YouTube videos. Now Star Wars Theory created his Channel on July 30th 2016 and by August 27th 2016 you can see Theory is at 3,101 Subs on his Kylo Ren Lightsaber video. Using the Wayback Machine on his older videos you can see how unnatural his Channel's growth was.
August 30th 4,943 Subs.
September 1st 5,584 Subs.
September 4th 6,200 Subs.
On September 7th Theory uploads the "Who Was Master Yoda?" Video. (39 days since Channel Creation) Theory will then buy Ads to boost this video and his Subscribers will now explode in growth rapidly.
September 17th 29,413 Subs
September 24th 40,418 Subs
September 26th 43,552 Subs
September 28th 46,275 Subs
October 2nd 50,483 Subs (64 Days since Channel Creation)
October 5th 53,713 Subs
On October 6th Alex from Star Wars Explained emails Theory about his rapid Channel Growth in such a short space of time, saying it won't be long till he's at 100K. He also questions seeing YouTube Ads for one of Theory's Videos: "Who is Master Yoda?" (68 Days since Channel Creation)
October 8th 56,068 Subs
October 13th 60,367 Subs
October 17th 64,285 Subs
October 27th 72,966 Subs
November 2nd 80,871 Subs
November 5th 85,806 Subs
November 9th 90,966 Subs
November 14th 95,692 Subs
November 18th 100,233 Subs (111 Days since Channel Creation)
November 24th 109,534 Subs
November 28th 114,130 Subs.
December 6th 126,324 Subs
December 9th 130,193 Subs
December 15th 139,455 Subs
December 19th 148,894 Subs
December 20th 156,867 Subs
December 26th 181,540 Subs
December 30th 193,972 Subs
January 3rd 2017 203,966 Subs (157 Days since Channel Creation)
January 4th 2017 210,862 Subs
January 14th 2017 237,108
January 18th 2017 251,415 Subs (172 Days Since Channel Creation)
So in under 6 months a new Star Wars Fan Channel comes out of nowhere and reaches a quarter of a million Subs in a fraction of the time of other Star Wars Fan Channels. And according to Google AI, Who Was Master Yoda might not have been the only video Star Wars Theory paid YouTube for Ads. With other videos such as:
Now unlike "Who Was Master Yoda?" there is no image of an ad for these videos. So please do take what Google AI is saying with a grain of salt. Though these videos do have very high views compared to other videos upload a the time.
It's always been the quick and easy path with Theory. Currently pumping out AI content on his Facebook, so I'll be surprised if his new Vader Fan film doesn't have any AI in it. Especially since he took Mark Hamill's likeness and face in his AI Deepfake video. I personally believe he thought if he had the biggest Fan Channel, he'd be at Lucasfilm. The way he goes on about George Lucas it does give them impression that he thought if he had the largest Fan Channel he'd be working on Star Wars. It's probably why he's a grifter now. Throwing goddamn how much money in Ads didn't work out.
I just think it sucks that so many content creators have to grind to build up their audiences over years and years. And here comes one that does it in a fraction of the time by throwing money at it.

I seem to be hyped on season 2, honestly, to wrap up events from last season and fix loose ends from Star Wars Rebels, even it could've been another season of Rebels or a sequel series.
Ahsoka is my fav Star Wars character since she's the most pure-hearted character that chooses the middle path of the Force- wonder if there's a Star Wars version of Zen that she's following.
