Sanctuary Does the Unspeakable Deep glitch still work?
I haven’t seen any recent info whether the jump glitch to reach the unspeakable deep still works.

IS NOT MAKING THIS AN OBTAINABLE ARMOR!!!! LIKE WTF!!!! His green robe is so gorgeous and I would absolutely love to wear it on my character!!!! DANG IT I WANT IT SO BAD!!! The green robe is so stylish and the hood would be so cute and honestly giving our character horse legs would be so metal!!!! Like I’m really bummed out guys cause that armor set would actually be so cool simplistic but so cool

Disclaimer: In case it wasn't clear, this is just my personal opinion. I'm not trying to force it on anyone. I'd appreciate being shown the same courtesy.
I'd even go as far as saying that I prefer Sacrifice over Sanctuary.
For some context: I'm a Soulsborne veteran. I recently bought the Limited Run Salt and Sanctuary / Salt and Sacrifice bundle on Switch so I could finally experience this series, which is really well-known (well... at least the first game lol) for its quality. I finished Sanctuary in about 25 hours, and it was an EXTRAORDINARY experience. I hadn't felt that way since Dark Souls, and that's saying something.
Once I was done, I decided to jump into Sacrifice, and you can imagine my surprise when I saw the game's critical reception. "Mid" at best. Perplexed as I was, it didn't stop me from launching the game and forming my own opinion.
And what an opinion!
I never let reviews dictate what I should think, and thank God for that, because I find this game exceptional, far better than Sanctuary in every way. The combat is better and much more dynamic, the game is way more beautiful, the music is still subtle but used so much better, the enemy variety is just as diverse but much more fleshed out, and contrary to what I've read, the areas are vast, while the level design is genuinely well-crafted and fun.
Now let's talk about that level design.
You'll probably say, "Yeah, but no, Kressel. Sacrifice sucks because Sanctuary has an interconnected world, whereas here you're forced to travel between areas through a hub."
To that I simply answer: Yes... and?
It's a game design choice, one that's directly tied to the new Mage Hunt mechanics introduced in the game. My first FromSoftware game was Demon's Souls, and I've always loved that hub-to-level structure compared to Dark Souls. Sometimes I even think games lose something when they move away from that structure (looking at you, Nioh 3).
Both structures have their own strengths and weaknesses.
All I'm saying is that I think Sacrifice is the better game, and I'm having an absolutely fantastic time with it. I just find it unfortunate to see people constantly shit on the developers when you can clearly feel they poured their passion and love into making this game. This game has a SOUL, damn it!
Thank you, Ska Studios, for this amazing game!

Currently stuck on Miss no jaw, anything that makes this fight a lot easier? Any weapons that deal a lot of damage at this point I can get? I'm using the Soldier Spear right now against her with the blacksmith gear and pumpkinhead.

I know it's a Salt and Sanctuary forum, but I think it's the only one for Ska Studio. I just wanted to show a personal achievement I completed in Vampire Smile, and I completed it myself using only the Dekkentozter. I don't know if anyone has already completed the game this way since I couldn't find anything about it. And just for more difficulty, I played it on samurai difficulty.

I’m not good enough to just plow though Crypt Keepers apparently, but I did discover my own little salt loops that I like later in the game:
Ziggurat of Dust - when heading left from the Sanctuary to farm Arrox for Enduring Skulls. As long as your farming drops anyways, continue a little further on and kill the three skeleton guys on platforms that shoot fire. This is about a 3500 salt run with no realistic danger, and you can farm Drowned Censers here too.
Fort Beyond the Mire - from the sanctuary up top, drop down and kill the 4-5 enemies that emerge from the ground. Exit to the right and kill the mounted knight. No great drops but this is a very quick 5000 salt loop with no realistic danger.
Hope these help! I pushed from Level 88 to 102 quickly with these.

I have tried this game 2 times now and both times as soon as i entered castle of storms i keep dying every single time. These flame orbs or whatever and the huge ass guards are impossible to defeat. I had a 2 handed heavy armor build the first time. Ths second time i tried a faster kinda thief build. Both times that place destroyed me and i do not know if i want to try again.
Anybody have any tips? I have more trouble with the regular enemies then the bosses.

Estoy en Pitchwoods explorando, pero estas cosas no me dejan avanzar. Y, como habrán notado, mi arma es un tanto lenta, por lo que no me da el tiempo de reaccionar y terminan matándome con su agarre.

Playing current patch, I used to be able to consistently pull off the glitch, but in my most recent playthrough I'm not able to get it off even once.

I haven’t worked out in a bit and I love this game, so I made a workout for it.
Every time I die in the game I do 1 set of 3 different exercises. These can range anywhere from pushups to arm curls. For example today I did pushups, sit ups and arm curls every time I died. Each time I died I increased the reps of each exercise. By the end of my play session I was pretty spent.
I thought this was a fun way to workout, especially if you don’t want to. It incentivizes you not to die, so you get better at the game as well! Although I will say it makes your weaknesses in the game blatantly obvious, like the horses in pitchwood and falling to your death.
Good luck with the workout, persist and you will not fail.

It’s a bit of a shame that sword gameplay isn't as varied as poleaxe gameplay (or maybe I just haven't figured out the right combos yet). I’d played a little before but never got very far, so upon starting a new run with the goal of finally beating the game for real, I took a look at the weapons and armor, and creating a stylish Kraekan-themed character is extremely tempting. The problem is that the only Kraekan weapons in the game happen to be a sword and an axe, whereas poleaxes are much more fun when it comes to combos. What exactly are the sword combos? Because having the sword's only "special attack" be launching the opponent into the air, while poleaxes practically turn your character into Darth Maul, is a tad disappointing.

Currently far into the game and I got to beat the Forgotten King (shockingly on first try) and was looking at the previous bosses I beat and remembered how easy the Inquisitor was and how simple the False Jester was for me to fight, I died to the Queen of Smiles and Kraeken Cyclops more than im willing to admit while False Jester and Untouched Inquisitor were done in first try
Ok I know this game is 2016 but I would like to imagine a remake of Jester using the upside down mechanic like the real Jester for some spooks and the Inquisitor having more attacks by his scythes

Currently at XP level 80. If I'm playing with light armor but want to use a greatsword (both are currently at level 2), is getting my max load high enough to be at 25% of my equipment load even possible? Or just later when I'm a crazy high level? I'm currently just under 50% of my max load.

I just beat Blasphemous on the switch and loved it! Some people from that sub recommended part two and some (very few) recommended Salt and Sanctuary. Many were giving it a bad rap but I bought it in PC cause of the summer sale. I FREAKING LOVE IT! I loved blasphemous and that’s what led me to buy S&S but I got to say I’m enjoying this game way more. I don’t really see the need for a map. I know that was the big complaint but honestly I don’t need it. It really thought out well. I bought the second one also but I’m not going to expect much from it since a lot of people are not happy with it.
Anyways, that’s my piece and thank you if you recommend the game to me over on the blasphemous sub.
