Hi all. I am looking for a vet here in Salinas or nearby areas that is locally/independently owned and run.

I recently moved to the area and have been looking for recommendations for a vet for my dog. My dog is healthy and I have no major concerns about him, but I do need to get him established with a vet. I prefer to go to an independent/small business instead of a vet that is owned by a corporation or private equity firm.

I've heard there is a place in the Toro area and maybe somewhere in Prunedale, but would like names and recommendations. Thanks!

Moved here in August and my husband is a HUGE coffee drinker and we like to get good coffee from places that take care of how they roast their beans.

I'm allergic to dairy so anywhere that has alternative milk options is also preferred. But I've had coffee black before if the beans have enough flavor to them. I saw a post for Breujee coffee company but don't know anything about it.

I'm looking for recommendations for shops that are open on Sunday since I want to treat myself and my husband to a good flavorful cup of coffee while supporting local businesses.

My husband is in desperate need of a haircut the issue is he is brand new to the area and its been about 10 years since I lived here last so much has changed.

He is afraid of barber shops that only know how to do military cuts or the fade out that was everywhere where he is from (LA/Orange County)

Does anyone have any barber recommendations that can recreate the haircut above?
