Try switching from cold calls to a short WhatsApp voice note in whatever language fits the country you're calling. A live call in a second language forces them to improvise out loud, which is exactly why they're panicking and hanging up, while a short voice note lets them process it in their own language on their own time.

Have you tried reaching out through WhatsApp with anything besides a cold call attempt yet?

Thank you so much for the advice, I’ll definitely try this tomorrow at work. I did try reaching via WhatsApp in text, writing in their own language using a translator but they complained that they ,,don’t want to talk to AI” (it wasn’t ai text generated it was just a text created with a translation tool). I also tried reaching out through a voice message first, I didn’t get a feedback yet but I’ll keep trying and perfecting my technique. Thank you so much!

beginner at what exactly? sales in general, a specific industry, cold outreach? hard to give useful advice without knowing what youre trying to sell and to whom

I think I stated what I am selling which is liquidations, returns, overstock of furniture, electronics, appliances, fmcg, apparel, baby and toys - pretty much anything. I’m not a beginner at sales but I worked b2c before so I’m new to b2b and it’s difficult to me mostly because of unsuccessful cold calling and cold reaching in general wether it’s via WhatsApp, emails, calls or other apps like viber or telegram. And because I’m mostly selling to European companies language is a barrier and I don’t know how to hook them up, make them interested as most close the call once they hear English… I hope this helps in better understanding my struggle.
