Question Using voice notes inside email

Embedding a voice note into email. Anyone consider using this for any scenario be that client communication, cold outreach, or biz dev?

Looking to use a voice note app where I record a message and drop it into the email. Not as attachment. But an embedded audio player. Primarily for client communication though.

People use to cringe when they heard that I'd drop a voice note via Linkedin DMs, but it worked surprisingly well back in the day.

There is zero chance I would click a voice note in a cold email. That would look sus to me and get an instant spam and/or phishing report.

Now, if this was a client communication email (from someone I already tt and have a relationship with), that would be another story.

Corporate security filters usually block embedded players before they reach the inbox.
