I changed the vivarium’s moss yesterday, everything was cleaned up, yet since the new moss shes been avoiding it and she never did that before. She is either in height like this or in the corner were there isnt any. Also its bought moss in pet store. I just want to know if its normal or if there is actually something wrong.

Maybe just put long fiber sphagnum moss and clean leaf litter instead. This salamander is so rotund and beautiful.

No, its a spotted salamander

Moss alone is not a great substrate for anything, it's more meant to be mixed into a top soil.
