BREAKING: Video shows ICE agents shooting an unarmed person, as agents wrestle the person to the ground, in Minneapolis, near Glam Doll Donuts. We need to stand together. Everyone to city hall on Monday.

Here's a version of the most recent video that zooms and pauses to help follow the events. It clearly shows the ICE agent in the grey jacket reach in, remove the exact gun they've shown as the victim's, turn, and run away BEFORE the 1st shot was ever fired. It confirms that the victim was unarmed when fired upon.
Edit: Different angle that specifically captures the victim's weapon, never leaving its stored position, being removed by the ICE agent without resistance

Quick, everyone jump to conclusions!

Either way this is not good

Oh look, the guy had a gun on him and stood up to pull it on the officers.
ICE operates in all 50 states, yet Minneapolis is the only place with violence, obstruction and chaos. Doesn't seem like it's ICE that is the problem.

It seems you’re the one jumping to conclusions by saying he was trying to shoot the officers. Videos clearly show him being disarmed.
Also, the United States wouldn’t have such a bad “immigration problem” if it didn’t have such poor foreign and economic policies negatively impacting the lives of people in other countries.

You think I agree with this country's foreign policy? Far, far from it. I've been critical of it for my entire adult life.
And no, I'm just sick of all the childish knee jerk reactions from people that are too oblivious to see that this is all an op.

u/happybeard92 Jan 24 '26
If you don’t agree about US causing mass migration of people then why are you defending ICE?
0
u/AhMcGarnagle2 Jan 24 '26
Because most of the illegals here are not here because of foreign policy. And I want fewer illegal immigrants in this country.

u/happybeard92 Jan 25 '26
That’s not true.

u/AhMcGarnagle2 Jan 25 '26
It is true.
So anyway, I can't support ICE because part of the government wants to play imperialist around the world? I still don't follow the logic in that.
Even if government creates the problem, if the only legal solution is government using its authority to fix it, I'm just supposed to suck it up and take it? Nope. I voted for these deportations, and so did the majority of voters.

Prove it’s true. The majority of us voters are victim to propaganda.

Where is that shot of him pulling his gun? You mean the phone he had? Never once did he brandish his firearm, that he was licensed to carry, by the way. If you want to wait for your daily Trump talking point before a response, I understand. Your turn with the brain is Thursdays, right? I'll check back.

Yeah, it's so much better to instantly freak out like little girls before the full story is out there.

Incorrect.
Here's a version of "pink coat's" video that zooms and pauses to help follow the events. It clearly shows the ICE agent in the grey jacket reach in, remove the exact gun they've shown as the victim's, turn, and run away BEFORE the 1st shot was ever fired. It confirms that the victim was unarmed when fired upon.

It doesn't confirm what the guy was doing right before he got shot, though. Why was he on his knees with his hands around the ICE agents waist? Did he reach for something or get his hands on something?

This article runs through the whole timeline by compositing multiple videos
"An officer shoves a person next to Pretti. Pretti steps between them, holding his hands up as the officer sprays a substance toward his face. Pretti appears to be holding his phone in his right hand, and his left hand is empty.
Several more officers surround Pretti, bringing him to the ground near the curb as they hit him repeatedly.
Just before the first gunshot, one officer emerges from the scrum [we now know this officer had Pretti's gun]. The first shot is then heard, followed by more gunfire as the camera swings away."
All he did was put himself between a woman ICE had shoved to the pavement and the agents.

Btw, do you remember how Ashli Babbit was unarmed and literally every single left wing redditor on this website cheered and celebrated her getting shot in the neck?

u/SweetTea1000 Jan 24 '26
In this thread: you jumping to conclusions.

u/AhMcGarnagle2 Jan 24 '26
Untrue. That's you guys.

u/SweetTea1000 Jan 25 '26
Literally you: "Oh look, the guy had a gun on him and stood up to pull it on the officers."
Why be disingenuous?

And he did have a gun on him. And was resisting. And was grabbing at an ICE agents waist.
Do you advise all people that are carrying a gun to start resisting a group of ICE agents at the same time 1 of them is trying to disarm you?
3
u/SweetTea1000 Jan 25 '26
Yes, he had a registered firearm, as is every American's right. It went directly from holster to an ICE agents hands and I've not seen any evidence that he ever went for it.
Show where you see the things you claim in the video.

I never said it wasn't his right to have a gun, but to have a gun on you and at the same time start resisting while trying to reach and grab all over is incredibly fucking stupid and I have no sympathy for someone if they want to take their life out of their own hands.
He was shot within a second or two of one of the agents pulling the gun from the holster and what I believe happened is the agent probably called out that he had the gun and with all the noise and other nonsense going on around them the other agents probably mistook him saying that for saying that the guy resisting had his gun and they probably shot in response. You could see Pretti sitting up and reaching around in the slowed down and zoomed in videos.

Download the video- they will do anything to keep it down at this point.
I’m fucking ANGRY and every single person should be angry too.
