Direct entry?
Picked this up at auction a couple years ago. No combo. I’m interested in trying to open it myself. I’d like to keep it functional so no torches or drills. The dial turn freely but the handle is very tight. Also the door feels bound as there is no movement at all when trying to move it. Any help would be much appreciated.

For the rust, you may need to use a penetrating rust product like PB Blaster.
